Are you looking for some light hip support or something heavier? Metals are better quality and you have more options. Inzers are good for under a suit or for lighter support.
I prefer the Ace Metal brief over the predators. The legs are a little to long for my liking. The Ace are thick, and provide a lot or protection to your hips.
Also base your decision on your squat stance, medium, wide, or narrow. The Ace are for wide squats, I use mine for sumo deads aswell. I tried them for conventional pulling and it wasn't happening due to the cut of the brief.
I am looking to wear them under a suit. I would like to compete next year '12 and the gear is the most confusing part. After looking at the Metal ace briefs I could see why you couldn't pull convential with them. In competition I would pull sumo, I'm 5'4 so I'm a little stronger in that stance and my squat stance is medium so I shouldn't have a problem there.

Go to powerwatch. They have a list of people advertising. Titan briefs or suits are very good. You can go to Titans web site or Ken Anderson. He knows his stuff about the equipment. If your new to the sport, then you will end up spending a lot of money over time trying all the types of gear, before you hit on a combo that works for you, and is allowed in the federation your competing in. Good luck.
