1 exercise , lots of sets

i have heard positive things about german volume 10 sets of 10 reps.

im looking at doing something like this for an upper body day. i think it would work for bodyweight training.

chins dips that sort of thing

Tried it with chins and only got to the 4th set and rep dropped steadily.

With GVT you need to choose a weight you can probably do 20 reps for in the first set (you obviously stop at 10 though).

Brilliant way to shock the body by way of volume and fatigue accumulation.

I prefer 10 x 3-5 on a regular basis as I'm fast twitch dominant. I do this until my progress comes to a halt and then switch to a HIT program.
