A few points to note. I am 5'11".

I started training at 15 years old and 127lbs. I started on gear at 17 and 9 months and 165lbs.

I have been up to 280lbs a few times and still veiny.

Now I am 29 and I am 260, but look like shit - 13.8% measured today - haven't trained or eaten seriously in 18 months. Also not gearing.

I will be making my 'comeback'. One of this days...

Veiny at 280!!! Wow. Its hard to "have been" and not be, but I can understand not having the energy and drive to go at it continually, year after year. You started gearing awful young, I've never seen advice on any board to begain at 17, but I guess It worked OK for you in the end. Would you recommend that to anyone else ? (not me, I'm WAY past that age, lol). Well, regardless of your current condition, which is better than 99.99999% of males out there, you clearly know your shit, and I for one appreciate that you take the time to share your knowledge.

big A i know completly where u are coming from bro I remeber when i first started training being 5'4 100 pounds at 15 damn that seems like that was a lifetime away. u have made increadble progress. hell nothing like all those firsts all those years ago the first time u bench 200 the first time u squat 300 the first time u nail your gf at school damn those are great memorys lol

Same "BigA" as "Animal" ?

Listen dont be reachin thru the keyboard to smak my scrawny 230# ass if Im wrong, but I know Ive seen the names "BigA" and "Animal"(of Animal Kits fame) used interchangeably....

My most memorable bodybuilding accomplishement was when I reached 100kg (220lbs) for the first time. That was the magic figure.
You only work for few months for a competition win. I worked for almost 6 years to reach 100kg.
