took these myself so their not the best, need a floor length mirror......or someone to take pictures........I am 11 weeks out as of this coming Sat. 1st show ever (better late than never)
Looking very thick there thym. As hutch suggested when you hit your front lat spread take your thumbs and dig them into your back just behind the obliques and flare your elbows out to the sides. Then hit the lat spread. If you keep you hands to close together at the front you hide all that wonderful thickness you have. Good work so far bro. looking on target!
Great shape and muscle bellies!!
Yea you change it only slightly, remember the judges can't see what's going on in front when you do rear lat spread so try to make those wings pop out as wide as you can. You still want to start the pose with your thumbe dug into your obliques and pull your elbows our wide. Then just rock back slightly on your the leg you have out behind you. Just practice this in front of a mirror or get someone to video you as you hit the poses. it will help you a lot. I used to set the video up behind me with the tv as a monitor in front of me so I could watch it in real time and adjust accordingly. Give it a try.Excellent!! That has been one of the more challenging poses. I just learned to keep my feet in(but angled) for the illusion of width. Hand position has been harder. As you said my arms tend to crowd the view of my lats. Now, do you use the same technique for front and back lat spread or does it change like in the double Bi??
