I do exactly the same

Cod + brocoli or chicken+ cauliflower

Rice only for carbs , 1 fruit after training

Carb cycle , 1 high , 3 med ,3 low

Agree! If I’m not suffering then I’m not doing it right, Rusty Jeffers is guiding me, he says we gonna roll up into this show slowly, losing no more then 1.5-2 pounds a week, making sure we keep the muscle along the way.

thanks for the words, I appreciate it, my legs are really starting to split up this week. Week by week new things pop up, funny sport 😊
 
Cod pisses me off. It’s so light and flakey when I try to eat it with a fork it falls apart.

Hangry lol.
Have to agree, but it’s best for protein and most important it digests extremely fast.
 
Cod is affordable too. Some of the other fish like Mahi Mahi runs more. I need to start eating it more. I like Cod.

Oh I agree. My nephew was trying to gain weight, always saying he was full. Made him switch to cod and white rice. Easy on the stomach and you can just damn near eat it every two hours.

I like a little lemon juice and zatarans blackend seasoning on my fish.

God yea !! I bath it in fresh squished lemon juice ! Some garlic and onion powder too

I do it for the digestion too , im never full even on 8 meals a day

I have noticed as john previously also stated that i get my best results cutting when im constantly hungry and never full

I’ve been cooking all cod and chicken in crock pot, just throw cod steaks in frozen fill up with water so it almost covers them and then pour in all kinds of Mrs Dash lemon pepper seasoning and squeeze in 3 lemons and leave the lemons in there to cook with it for 1.5 hours, then for chicken same thing but I use Mrs dash chipotle, garlic herb or chicken flavor seasoning, cook for 4 hours. Makes it all bearable.

Yes that’s the key, MEASURE OUT YOUR FOOD! Same amounts and eat every 2-2.5 hours, DO NOT EAT MORE, you should not feel stuffed ever, you constantly want that hunger, my mind is only thinking about one thing THE NEXT MEAL!
 
How big/competitive is the contest you are going to be in? Will it qualify you for bigger contests? So far I think you are doing as well as any mortal could based off of where you started out at. Great comeback so far!

Thx man, for my age I’m pleased, 8 or so months ago I was out of shape and hadn’t trained in waaaaay too many years, like 7.5 to be exact lol, just having fun now and actually enjoying the entire process this time.
