Hey guys. Just thought I would share a video.

12 weeks out as of this Saturday. I'm doing the Pittsburgh. 5'9. Had a meal, then went to the gym and got this. Morning weight before drinking or eating was 253. Right now I'm following my own version of the Palumbo diet as I don't have the money to hire anybody this year. I'm pretty flat in the video, but I like the feeling of being dry. Just trying to have fun and see where I can go from here.

Started prepping about a month ago at 271-273ish. I've done about 6 cardio sessions in the past month because I've come down quick. I'll start adding them as needed. I know my back and arms are major weaknesses. I'll probably be taking 2010 off to work on those things.

Quads look great. If that's you at around 250lbs, what do you think you will have to drop to in order to be comp ready?

I've never competed before but I feel that now is the time to get into it.

Yea Dave, I agree with your obsevations about back and arms, particular attention to the bicep. some more thickness on your back and what a package bro. Look nice and thick eveywhere else though. legs are killer. Good work.

My plan is to start "regularly scheduled" cardio after this Saturday. I actually started doing cardio the first and second week (inconsistantly) for 30min sessions, but dropped to 250 from 270+ in 14 days. I backed off. I was only walking on the treadmill at 10 degrees and 2.5mph. I need to watch the cardio due to work though. I work in a warehouse. My job is to walk up and down an aisle, throwing 1000-2000 cases of liquor every nite. It's definitely a calorie burner.

Protein per meal is between 70-80g. Fat is 20-25g. Daily total is usually around 500g protein and 120-140g fat. I eat every 2-3 hours, usually 7 times a day. My carbs are less than 50g per day. I feel great this way. My energy is always good when I'm not screwing with my blood sugar. No matter what type of carb, how simple or complex, I seem to go hypo VERY easily when I'm dieting. I also get really screwy with my energy levels and hunger. One day per week, I usually throw carbs back in with a cheat nite. I'll eat all the sushi I can in one sitting, go eat some starbursts, then go back to dieting the next morning.
 
arms are not weak at all... they don't "stand out" as a strong part, but they aren't weak at all. neither is your back. sometimes if we love bodyparts on other people like the pros, we think ours are weak cuz they don't stand out like theirs. but you got the total package buddy! seriously, looking good as always.

one thing i've noticed on the back double bicep... HOLY FRONT DELTS BATMAN! LOOK AT THEM POP UP!
