do you really need extreme dieting and/or counting macros when losing 5% body fat? especially when target bodyfat is 10%.. i realize getting below 10% requires extra measures.. but to start at 15% and end at 10% just seems to be an energy expenditure game.
eat one less meal or lower your portions per day coupled with increased cardio.

thoughts ?

No, not extreme, but you do need deficit.

Eat little less carbs and spend a little more energy and you'll get there.

If you count macros, take 10g of carbs from each meal every two weeks and you'll lose 5% soon.
