Background: 44m. 5 9" 195lbs BF 15%. I have worked out on & off for years. Started really getting back into it this year until I had (recurring) shoulder problems. I had two shoulder operations and everything is great. It is my intention to start rehab in December with very light weights on upper body.
I have done a good bit of reading and think I would like to try a cycle. My goal is to gain muscle (especially in lagging areas) and get leaner. Looking at my training log: I was doing flat bench press 265lbs x 10 reps. Squats 405 x 12 reps for 4 sets when I stopped working out 3 months ago. Since that time I have done 4 hours of cardio each week, even during operation weeks. I've only lost 5 lbs! stinks getting old and, of course, my diet has been not so good.
I will get the diet in-line, continue doing the cardio, and think about a cycle sometime next Spring.
Any suggests on the cycle? I was thinking of doing the Newbee Gold from Alin.
