20 Weeks Out, Cycle Advice

First some history, I’ve been doing “bulking” cycles most of my adult life, in the last 20 years I’ve been “on” for about 7 years total. For about the last 3 years I’ve been on HRT, blasting and cruising. I generally keep the dosage reasonable, 500mg test, 300mg tren, 200mg deca is a common blast for me. Ancillaries are generally .5mg prami, and 25mg aromasin (aromasin dosage varies). I’ve gone up as high as 1g test before, but didn’t really feel it made much difference, and the DHT levels got out of hand. I get bloodwork done on a very regular basis, and am monitored by a doctor.

20 weeks from now I have my second bodybuilding contest ever. I’m planning a 20 week cycle, starting with a 6 week bulking phase, and then a 14 week diet phase. Note that I do not plan on gaining fat during the bulking phase. I’m currently 240lbs at 5’10” and probably around 10% bodyfat. My last contest I weighed in at 200 (just missed my goal of being a lightheavy), this time I plan on being around 215-220.

My macros are 60g protein/meal (chicken, beef, eggs, minimal protein powder used) usually around 80-120g of carbs/meal. I generally go for 5k calories/day. For my diet I just cut back the carbs slightly, having refeed days as needed. Current plan is to do 45min cardio first thing AM, then 20min cardio PWO if needed. Clen and T3 are on hand if needed, however I’m going to attempt to not use the T3 at all, and only use the clen for the final 4-6 weeks. Also, this will be my first time with Masteron.

6 weeks bulk:

~600mg test cyp (250mg E3D)
~200mg tren hex (80mg E3D)
50mg dbol ED
~250mg deca (100mg E3D)

14 weeks diet:

Weeks 1-7
~600mg test cyp (250mg E3D)
~200mg tren hex (80mg E3D)
~250mg deca (100mg E3D)

Weeks 8-14
~500mg test prop (150mg E2D)
~250mg tren ace (38mg ED)
350mg masteron enanthate (100mg E2D)

Advice and suggestions welcome! I'm a relative noob at cutting cycles.

I don't really get any sides on tren hex, I've run 16 weeks in the past at a higher weekly dose. Elevated BP is the only side I notice, maybe a little trouble sleeping but the prami takes care of that.

Can I ask you how you get those mgs when the gear you are using are all even numbered dosages, 250 150 200 100?

Do you really tell someone that you are on 583 mgs of test per week? In 30 years I have never heard these type of dosages being given.

In his defence he did give his every third day doses.Then gave precise weekly doses for a reference. I imagine if he gave rounded numbers he'd be pecked at just the same. Sometimes a no win situation.

did you have blood work done very close after that cycle? i can assure you that the side effects that people feel very alot but the effects that the drug has on the organs is pretty much the same for everybody.
 
here is what I would do assuming that your running 200-300mg test a week as maintaince.
I would not worry about doing a "bulk" phase , start lean and finish leaner , GROW throughout the diet.
Assuming that your BF% is off a little lets say its realy 12% and you want to be on stage at a legitimate 5% , thats a reduction of 7% body fat or 17lbs , that would have you just losing weight getting on stage at 223lbs , and with this much gear your not gonna lose weight !!! you will need to drop less than 1lb of fat a week to accomplish this , with a good diet and cardio that should be easy to do over 20 weeks !!

this is all assuming your diet is on target for you , those macros look ok I guess but not knowing what your fat is or where any of those carbs or fats are comming from its hard to say. do carbs make you fat? you may want to add some to that and reduce your fats. That all depends on your body type

(evaluate BF% good abs good veins and seperation honest single digit body fat , no need for T3 or clen , still a little blury in the abs start T3 at 50mcg/ed , maybe ECY 3x's a day
Test 800mg/wk
EQ 400mg/wk
Tren 200mg/wk
75mg Proviron/ed
.5mg A-dex/eOd

weeks 14-20
(evaluate bodyfat , you should have great abs , good veins in th legs and abs, seperation in quads , visable glute ham tie ins then stay the course. If not then up the T3 to 62.5mg and ad clen at 60mcg/ed)
test 1000mg/wk
Tren 300mg/wk
Mastron 300mg/wk
winstrol 50mg/ed
proviron 100mg/ed
.5mg A-dex/ every day

steadly upping the dose should allow you to progressvly get leaner without having to cut the cals to bad thus allowing your to grow larger and leaner at the same time

Awesome info! Thank you for taking the time to write this up. Everything you said here really makes sense to me and I will incorporate it into my prep. I have a little problem with the EQ, I live at over a mile in altitude, and my hematocrit tends to rise fast on EQ, especially when doing a lot of cardio. What would you recommend in place of the EQ? Deca perhaps?

To clarify, I do very well on high carbs, my carb totals are currently about 500g/day, 80-120g/meal. My protein is around 300g/day, 60g/meal. I do 5 meals per day currently, but will start 6 meals per day when I start my prep, and my carbs will drop to around 60g/meal. I do slightly more carbs earlier in the day and after I train, and slightly lower carbs in my later meals, sometimes with a little added health fat if my protein source is extremely lean. Oatmeal and yams/sweetpotatos are my staple carb.

One more edit: I'm going for a bodyfat measurement in a Bodpod sometime this week, I expect to see around 12% exactly like you said, on a 7 site pinch I'm 9%, but we know how inaccurate the pinch is...

the only thing i could add is, use gh if available 2-4ius about 1 hour before workouts works great or should i say cardio.
 
If you don't have any issues with Deca then by all means use that in place of the EQ. I have issues with Deca , and would never stack it with tren , but if you don't have issues with the progesterone related sides you would likely see better gains than with the EQ and could likely lower the dose to be on the safe side.
 
toss the EQ. i dont think its ever made anyone huge.
and with all the other stuff in you i think you are covered.

that amount of carbs is HIGH to me.
