This event brings together the strongest and the most physically fit athletes in Kentucky and surrounding areas, all under one roof!
What:
The KentuckyMuscle.com 2004 Bodybuilding, Figure, Strongman, and Fitness Expo Extravaganza is a day-long celebration of the best athletes in the strength and fitness world, featuring the area’s best armatures bodybuilders, figure athletes, and strongman competitors all competing for top honors.
Bodybuilding/Figure: The 2004 Kentucky State Bodybuilding Championship, Novice Grand Prix Bodybuilding Competition, and the Figure Grand Prix Championship. About 200 contestants will compete in nine divisions with up six weight categories per division. Winners receive commemorative swords and leather jackets, and qualify for the NPC National Competition in Miami, FL on November 20 and 21, 2004.
Strongman: The 2004 Ultimate Strongman Challenge. About 100 of the areas strongest men will compete for top honors. Winner will qualify for the NASS Nationals in 2005. The competition will have the following events.
DEADLIFT * LW 400lbs - HW 500lbs
*75 seconds to do as many reps as you can (Single ply suit, chalk, and straps allowed)
LOG CLEAN & PRESS - LW 210lbs - HW 250lbs
*75 seconds to do as many reps as you can (chalk & belts allowed, NO-Straps)
FARMERS WALK * 80 Feet - LW 240lbs - HW 280lbs
*Walk 40 feet; turn walk back walk back 40 feet; Fast time wins; 90 sec time limit; 1 drop allowed Chalk Only)
CRUCIFIX HOLD * LONGEST TIME HELD * NO STRAPS * LW 25lbs - HW 45lbs
*Longest time wins
MEDLEY (Rock Carry and Tire Flip) – Rock Carry (LW 225lbs - HW 265lbs) Tire Flip (LW 500lbs – HW 700 lbs)
*Fast Time wins; 90 Seconds Max Time Limit
Fitness Expo: Vendor in the Medical and Health field, Supplements Companies, and athletics organizations from surrounding areas will have booth setup to show off their wears. The highlight of the Expo is the free seminar at 5:00pm by the Institute of Anti-Aging Medicine. This seminar will explain the benefits of anti-aging medicine and how it can is help delay the aging process. Topics from Susanne Summer new book the Sexy Years will be discussed. This seminar is free to the general public and the feature speaker is Dr. Peggy Fishman.
When:
Nov 6, 2004 Morning show starts at 11 a.m., evening show starting at 7:00 p.m. Fitness Expo is open to general public from 05:00 pm to 06:00 pm.
