2007 Arnold Classic - Amatuer show...

How about the 1st annual Arnold for the amatuers. My first question is what federation is hosting this show? Is it an NPC event? Any other competitors have this one in your line up? Would like to here everyones thought on what you feel the caliber of this show will be. Will it be similar to the Shawn Ray Classic - amatuer and how was the turn out for that show? Just had a few thoughts.

I think that's a great idea.That should make it a high quality competition. Kind of like the Superbowl of amatuer physique athletics. Let's hope it kicks off. I just wonder what the depth would be like considering it is the first year and the fact that there are tight restrictions on entering. Any pro-cards being handed out?

i think it might be too early in the season for it to have major national competition there. at least this first year. its in march corrrect?? im sure it is not a pro qualifier, but i could be wrong.

Its tempting josh but like you have done I am taking a long break and going to pack on some more muscle before I re-emerge at the National level, hopefully I will be bigger, harder, and better.... :st:r-wars

I think its top 5 in a state championship, and they are only taking the first 15 to rejister in each weight class..thats what I heard

Number of athletes/ competitors that will be accepted
Due to the scope of the Arnold Sports Festival and time restrictions in the facilities we are utilizing, the number of athletes accepted will be limited to 235. The first 15 athletes who register and meet the requirements for competing in the men's and women's Bodybuilding divisions will be accepted. If a Bodybuilding division does not have 15 entries, the remaining spots will be evenly distributed among the other divisions.

The first 20 Fitness athletes and the first 90 Figure athletes that register and meet the eligibility requirements to compete will be accepted into the competition.

Registration Deadline is January 15 , 2007.
No registrations will be accepted after this date

Great info. Thanks bro. Appreciate it. I'm very tempted to rearrange my schedule for next year and jump in. I'm feeling the same way that Josh B. feels. I never thought that I'd say this but I'm tired of eating.
