2008 Border States...a show I will always remember.

I'm sure a lot of you read the title of this thread and said what is he talking about, this is just a regional show. Well yesterday Hotfigure committed to entering the show with me...as a bodybuilder. This will be her first and most likely last show of any type and I can't tell you how excited I am to go through the rest of my prep with her. We are going to have a ton of fun between doing cardio together, me training her, and posing together. This will be the most memorable prep and most likely competition of my life knowing she will be taking her body to a new level of conditioning that couldn't be done while competing in figure.

Anyhow, I just wanted to tell all of my PM bro's how proud I am of my girl and how much I am looking forward to these final six weeks. She is an amazing girl and athlete.


PS- Alex A has agreed to take her on as a client even though he only has 6 weeks to get her ready. He has already completed her plan and will be there for us every step of the way.

Awesome...My girl and i are prepping for the same show in November (she is being trained by robroy), and we have a blast, from shopping together for groceries to posing and training together weekend hikes etc...People often ask how we get along while doing this as if there should be a negative comment coming back, but it is golden, We are really enjoying our journey and getting hotter together as well...I still have a long way to go to be hot, but i have patience......lol..

lkg and i are going through the same thing. and you know what....its actualy eaiser prepping than ever before for me. we both train, do cardio and eat the same foods. both are tired and know how the other is feeling. yeah we have our moments when we get irritated w each other but a lot less of them this way. i tought it would be harder, but really its great. one of the best things is she isnt eating foods that i want and cant have and vice versa. this makes the diet so much easier to stick to.

good luck to you guys i know you will have a great time. and yes it will be great on that day win loose or draw knowing you it together.

That's awesome that you and her can share that together. My girl would have to be dragged to the gym and probably tranquilized and transported to an actual show. Kick some ass!

Dusty Im excited for you. I have a great feeling about the outcome. And trust me, on show day this will rank up there with some of your best moments ever.

I have a short time, allot of responsibilities and the plan is in effect. Im more into this than you can imagine. And the best part is that im going to be there.

My wife, one of the best bodybuilding stage photographers will get the best pics and we will be sure to share them with this boards members! If we all agree we will have a preview in about 4 weeks..

awesome news Dusty best of luck to the both of you. Me and my trainning partner are trainning for the same show and my wife has decided that she wanted to start dieting along with us so she has been dieting for the last couple of weeks and will be done around the same time we get on stage. It has been fun throughout the entire diet process.

6 weeks is what I had left when I contacted Alex A for my prep before my photo shoot, and trust me in such a short time, he can do magical stuff

Dusty its your long lost training partner. Wish I could be dieting with you guys for the show, I quess I should not have tried to keep up with you and I would not have hurt my shoulder. We miss you in the gym too. Hopefully after the show you can make the trek to my side of town for some DC training with Ryan and I. If not you know we will be hitting Oregano's the following weekend.
