I'll cut right to the chase:

This year's Olympia will feature:
Every single Arnold Classic winner of the last 12 years.
3 different Mr Olympia winners. 4 if you 'swing that way' with Victor Martinez in 2007.
Competitors with a total of 10 second place finishes at the Olympia.
7 competitors that have won the New York pro/NoC.

If Jay Cutler wins, he will have placed 2nd at the Olympia, then won the Olympia, lost the title, won it back, lost it, and then won it back again.
Mamdouh Elsbiay's worst placing in a bodybuilding show, is 1st.

If Phil Heath and Mamdouh Elsbiay were to place in the top 6 this year, someone who has won the Arnold Classic will not make top 6.

2 competitors have won BOTH the Olympia and the Arnold Classic before.

Branch Warren, Victor Martinez, and Kai Greene have all won the Arnold Classic and taken 2nd at the Olympia; thus all they have left to win in all of bodybuilding, is the Olympia.

disclaimer: I didn't double check anything but I'm pretty sure this is about right

I wanna see phil loose!

I wanna see phil loose!

I think you mean "lose." ;) Sorry, it's just one of those things that bother me.

To the OP, damn did you come up with this all on your own? That's pretty impressive that you spent the time to pull all of it together if that's the case.

I think Phil Heath will definitely have his work cut out for him this year. It was a close call with Kai Green last year and with all of this talent on the rise, there will be lots of hard decisions to make for those top 5 spots. Not too sure Jay Cutler will be able to pull off a top 2 spot. Certainly not with young guys like Evan Centopani not to mention Shaun Rhoden who was third last year and 11th the year before that. Pretty big jump in places in one year, Rhoden also has the smallest damn waist up there. But the big deal this year will undoubtedly be BIG RAMY. Everyone is talking about this kid, he came out of nowhere and smashed Victor Martinez, made Vic look like it was his first show. He will have a top 3 spot for sure. I know a lot of people say that he can't just jump into his first Olympia and win it, they won't let him. Well, to those people i say just remember what Dorian Yates said. He said the judges can't hide the biggest guy on stage, if you are clearly bigger and look better, you can't be hidden and politics with judges be damned. I think that you can't hide a guy like BIG RAMY and we might just see one of the best and most exciting Olympia competitions to date.

This will definitely be one of the most memorable Olympias in its History.
Can't wait.
