wow, I didn't know Alex Cambronero was already 41. Cool! Hopefuel.
Kamal and max will be front runners in this show. Max from pure size and Kamal will definitely be the most conditioned guy on that stage.Out of this list, I would have to guess the top competitors would be
that is assuming Kamal would not be doing the masters?...?
- Fred Smalls, Joshua Lenartowicz, Maxx Charles
Now I'm concerned. Isn't GPT an early AI? AI i suppose to run everything all the time by 2030 and in 2023 it can't math the Olympia.I know - I was busy with work and got lazy - GPT3.5 was way off haha

I dont expect much from Josh, if he was looking that good he would have opted to come back to a small OPEN show.
agree with AA being insane, looks like he turns 40 in two weeksAnton Antipov is phenomenal... thing is, im pretty sure he isn't 40 yet....
Arya Saffaie should win hands down......I know i know..... nobody cares... lol
Perfect timing for him... He looks phenomenal ..I always wanted to be on stage with him but it just never worked out. He'd a smoked me for sure... He'll be Top 3.agree with AA being insane, looks like he turns 40 in two weeks
Josh Lenartowicz will go down as one of the great 'what could've been' stories in bodybuilding.I didnt know Josh was that old, that said, I feel like Josh was on the express train to maybe being a top 3 contender? Then he sort of fell off the radar. I actually forgot about him until I saw this post, and was like "oh yeah that guy was the shit a few years back"
thanks for the info man, I truly appreciate itJosh Lenartowicz will go down as one of the great 'what could've been' stories in bodybuilding.
In 2015 he won San Marino and Ferrigno Legacy. In 2016 he was 3rd at the Arnold USA and 4th at the Arnold Australia. He made his Olympia debut in 2016 and placed 9th, at that time the highest ever placing for a rookie at the Olympia. In 2017 he won the Tampa Pro.
Later in 2017 he was preparing for the Olympia and living in Florida with Dallas McCarver. He was the person who found McCarver dead and made the 911 call. McCarver passed a few weeks before the Olympia and Lenartowicz again took 9th that year.
The loss of McCarver was the start of a downward spiral for Lenartowicz. Shortly after his brother-in-law died then he had his own tumor issues which I don't believe he ever fully recovered from, in the sense that after all the medical procedures he still had head pain, it was impacting his training, etc.
Lenartowicz was 34 in 2017, right in his prime years as a bodybuilder. It's truly a shame we never got to see how great he could've been.
The top 2 on my list of what ifsthanks for the info man, I truly appreciate it
I feel like there are def a few that stand out as guys that "could have been great" that for a reason or another (health, personal etc) couldn't turn into their true full potential, or at least take their career to the heights it was possibly capable of.
I think of Mike Francois, Justin Compton, Seth Feroce, Jason Huh. I always thought Lionel Beyeyke had some genetic gifts that if pushed could have been great. Maybe Zach Khan?
Mike was but still is a beast. He is also a great guy. He is still involved in BB. He is still local to Columbus. He trains clients, and has a local NPC show that brandishes his name. I have spoken with him extensively. He is a really interesting, genuine, and authentic guy. He still looks incredible all these years later. The top 2 on my list of what ifs
1. Dennis Newman
2. Mike Francois
Are u in the Columbus area? My sister in law and nieces live there. I was born and raised 2 hours south of Columbus (southern tip of Ohio)Mike was but still is a beast. He is also a great guy. Yes sir! I actually spent from around 2004 to 2015 training at the worlds Mike is at (not metrofitness) in columbus. It's funny you mention how he looks because even with the health issues, little food, and often spotty training the dude walks around with striations all over him lol. His calves man...crazy.
I only go over there once in a blue moon now it's been quite a while since I've exited the hardcore scene and live on the other side of town. Brian Yersky used to train there as well. Lower level, now retired pro but we had a hell of a crew at that gym.

My thoughts exactly! Some are peaking around that age. Ronnie C. comes to mind, he hit his biggest and heaviest at like 41. Shawn Roden won his Olympia at 43 I think.40yrs-old is a joke. Masters? C'mon...

He had brain surgery. Both him and his brother have some type of brain disorder which required surgery but I believe the surgery was a success and he is able to train hard again. I think he brings a good package and could surprise people. He has a great personality and I wish him success.I didnt know Josh was that old, that said, I feel like Josh was on the express train to maybe being a top 3 contender?
