I pinned dead center, which is actually were it tore.
It was a muscle tear not ligament.
I still get bruising when pressing at the arm delt tie in and some soreness...
Still just working back up lightly...,,
Here is the golden rule mate..
"Muscles pull towards their origin"
that's just the way they pull so pecs originates from
- clavicular head
so pin gear in upper pecs (medial half of clavicle)
- sternocostal head ( inner/medial chest)
You are safer there. A LOT safer.
If people start going outwards you loading it by foreign body (gear) towards its insertions. This is where the issues could arise.
I pin chest on push alone in these areas.
I like chest shots. no issues.
1 ml of tren ace in upper pecs 30-45-1 hour before push i did. no problem.
stick to the origins sites of pec major.
