I don't use the tanning beds, I just use the tanning booths. 3 questions for those of you who indoor tan and just use the booths:

1. I don't like tingle lotions or bronzers. I just like accelerators. Is Coco Beach tanning accelerator lotion (as seen here: Coco Beach Accelerator 10oz. - Tanning Lotion Warehouse, Tanning Supplies ) a good lotion? This lotion is very cheap compared to the other brands. Has anyone ever used this accelerator?

2. When you guys have your base tan developed and you just want to maintain your tan, how many days a week do you go in the tanning booth and on what days during the week do you go? And how many minutes do you go?

3. How long after you get done tanning do you guys shower? The manager at my tanning salon told me you should wait atleast an hour. What do you guys think?

Thats a very cheap lotion. Try looking on ebay for lotions that just have bronzers with no tingle. I think Wicked is pretty good as well as brown envy. When you get done tanning its good to wait a few hours before showing. I think this only applies to if you used a bronzer lotion though. I never understood why this was important but I do it anyway. Also what I do is only use the high intestity beds that filter all the UV rays. They are the most expensive but you dont get burnt and are not exposed to any harmful rays like the other beds. I just tan 1x per week and hold an ok base. Its also important after your shower to apply an aloe vera lotion. It will help hold the tan better. Your local grocery store probably has it.

I heard some places online sell the expensive lotions real cheap because they put generic cheap lotions in the expensive brand bottles. Any truth to this?

Not sure about this. Anything is possible. I'd go with ebay and go with someone who is a high seller.

i do like the tingles lotions. i seem to get a better tan.

ussually what i do is use a tingle 1 time a weak and then use a bronzer or accelorator the other days'

i tan about 2-3 times a weak.

#1 not sure never used it. As long as it doesnt have the hot sauce stuff in it I'm good. Some of those lotions feel like hot peppers on your skin and burns like a MOFO.

#2 once a week for me is fine. 20 mins max. (laying down) one week, then the next week switch up to the stand up for about 10 minutes.

#3 what i used to do is go to the tanning salon first then head to the gym right after that. But an hour is nothing really. If you want to use that as a guide then that's fine.

I don't use lotion.

Once I am where I want to be. I tan once a week for 20 minutes. I tan more to keep my skin dry than for the tan look, although I am not complaining about being tan.

I usually shower about 45 minutes after I tan.

I don't use the tanning products, I use Tree Hut Coconut Lime Shea Body Butter with Coconut Lime Extracts, love the stuff. I tan 1 time per week pretty much year round. I have used melanotan II a couple time 10mg goes a long way for me. Too dark

I tan 3 times a week.. if I only tan once a week I look like I don't tan at all. I'm only 25% irish but I think my skin is 100% irish.
