30s & 40yrs agd OLD SCHOOL BMX BIKES

I am looking for old school BMX bikes Frames forks complete bikes parts ECT. Late 70s-1990. I raced BMX for 15yrs and I’m trying to restore a lot of bikes. It’s a hobby to me and some of the old school pros. We have BMX bike shows kind of like a car show. I will be happy to buy anything as long as it’s not cracked and in restorable condition. I can always re chrome or powder coat them it not a big deal. I will pay cash or we can do a trade. I am trying to restore a few bikes from 81 and 86. I know a ton of guys in their 30s-40s still have their bike from when they were kids in their parent’s garage, shed, crawlspace, or in storage or maybe even in your new houses. This is a max wicked sick BMX. It’s a Reliance Boomerang and it’s done heaps of maximum extreme stunts. I have mostly done stunts on this bike since forever. Once I did a boom gnarly stunt trick on it and a girl got pregnant just by watching my extremeness to the maxxxx. Some details about sickmax BMX: Comes with everything you see including: TOPS AS SUSPENSION REAR FORKS!! 2 x wheels 1 x seat I will even thrown my sick BMXing name for FREE - Wicked Styx. Has minor surface rust on handlebars and front forks (easily removed). More rust on rear forks (as shown in pics). Tyres hold air but are pretty old. Basically, it’s an old BMX, but it’s radness is still 100% in tact. Tricks I have done on this BMX: Endos - 234. Sick Wheelies - 687. Skids - 143,000. Bunny Hops - 2 (Bunny Hops are gay and my brother dared me to do them, which I did because I’m Rad to the power of Sick). Flipouts - 28. Basically if you buy this bike you will instantly become a member to every club that was ever invented, worldwide, because you will be awesome. Pick up from Richmond in Melbourne. A: Dear Mad Dog. The skids odometer shows 128,992 metres, but i think it might have gone round the clock. I once did a skid that went for two weeks.

I had a nickle plated Mongoose w/ Red Line V-Bars/Forks, Tuf Wheels, Tuf Neck, KKT Pedals, etc. I was a fat ass but I still got air off my plywood/brick ramps I'd make on the sidewalk in front of my house. I could pull a wheelie for an 1/8 mile too. Switched to a Suzuki Hayabusa as an adult. lolz

funny u posted this i raced back in 83-86 and my last bike was a 1984 GT bmx it weighed like 7 lbs , and my mom just sold it for 20 bucks last summer!! and the funny thing was she wouldnt give me the 20 bucks the bike was 200 or 300 new it was a great bike all chrome-moly gold anidized rims, shot-gun 2 seat ,haro number plate extra wide peddles damn i miss my bike!!!!

man, i used to jump the same kind of ramps. we also used to jump over oil barrels. i jumped 11 of them lined up. landed so hard it flattened both tires and broke the wheels. used to jump ten speeds, also. HA!! memories

I have 2 bikes. The first one is a 1984 Schwinn Predator, chrome bike with the black plastic mag wheels, and the stickers are black and green. the second is a 1987 or 1988 GT Performer, color is the bright blue with the white tires and white plastic mag wheels, and the stickers are the flourescent pink ones. Bikes are in good shape very little work prob less than 100.00 of work for both bikes to be perfect. Break cables and tires/tubes are about it. Everything else is in almost mint condition. Keep saying I will put on ebay but not enough time.

you guys are bringing back memories, I raced in the NBL most of my childhood and teen years. Then i raced on the park pre factory team in the early 90's man those were the days, we would fly through the rythm sections and hit the tables and triple steps with everything we had and no fear, these days i'd land in the hospital if i tried. LOL

i had my share of bikes from racing to freestyle GT Pro Performer, Mongoose solution, General Hustler, Redline, PK Ripper

We used towatch the movied MX Bandits and RAD several times a week, we all wanted to be Cru Jones

Don't ask my how I lived to talk about it, but we used to make jumps out of dirt with a huge fire pit in front of it too. One time my shoe laces caught on fire mid-air!!! No video recorders back then. Bummer!!!

THE rims

anyone remember Peregrine 48's wheels? Man, we used to use so much Simple Green on those wheels we could have cleaned the floor of half the world, ha ha. Me and a bunch of my buddies where sponsored by Open Air Schwinn in So Cal for freestyle BMX in the 80's. I rolled the Dyno. Camarillo was the spot. Doug Randazzo's ramp was world famous back then. His mom was cool and would let us ride even when Doug wasn't home. No insurance or lawsuit worries back then. Makes me want to build up another freestyler and start riding again just for nostalgia.
