405 on the bench!!!

I finally did it! I hit 405 on decline bench for 1 clean and controlled rep!!!!
Just had to tell. It's been my goal for years!

Congrats! That's my goal as well, but last bench workout, I stretched a little too long and felt a slight almost tear, but stopped myself, I may layoff a week or two... Your post just motivated me! Thanks for that and congrats again...

Lay off for two, maybe 3 weeks...I did the same thing a month and a half ago and I tried to go back a little too early, and ended up pushing myself back ANOTHER 2 weeks because I re-aggravated it doing a 3rd warmup set with 225. So it ended up being a month off of chest for me....just sayin'. Don't rush it.
