I feel like no one has done this yet and I am probably a good victim to do this!
1. Have not been on anything other than 200 mg week for for a year
2. Have not trained legs or any cardio for year
3. Have no real injuries as of now that bother me
4. Have seen this topic too many times and think it's bullshit and the reason is all these old dudes feel like hi reps and light weight work,I feel high reps work great with heavy weight
5. I will start legs and videos tomorrow and keep accountable with good real untouched photos
6. I weigh 256 this morning at 5'7" and yes I'm obese and plenty lubricated so no dry joint crying from me..I hope..lol
7. When I can squat 405 for a double or hit 315 for 20 with ease I will jump on a small cycle and try to get back to 5 plates for 8 with no belt
8. I own my own gym so should have no excuses for not being able to get to equipement..
9. Now I need to get my legs to match my mouth once again..tall order I know but they say at my age it can't be done..
10. I'm staring at this afraid to hit send..I can feel little slice and tenny gettin ready to talk shit..lol..here goes:banghead:

I wish you well brother and we'll follow you, but do us a favor and don't worry about squatting 8 plates. Just worry about getting your legs to grow without hurting yourself. Using a belt is not a bad thing I'm only 35 and use a belt every workout.. anyway like I said good luck brother I will follow I wish you the best let's see those legs come up with a nice sweep and the teardrop to top it all off...

I'm all for this log . I agree with being safe , since its been a long time with squatting you first have to get used to it again and best to give it at least a month, maybe more, to even get the mechanics down. Most important thing, dont push it too much, if your body allows it, itll happen, if not its not meant to be, and not worth an injury.

make sure to warmup knees on bicycle for 10 mins before, do some hip mobility, glute and ham stretches. watch the first 4 minutes of this and do therse or a variation of them before every leg workout for injury prevention.

after you warmup for 15-20 minutes ( and I do upper body warmups maybe this long, low weight high weights just to get the blood in there and injury prevention bc ive had a lot of injuries)...after you warmup do some light leg exnestions-high reps, leg curls, ab-ad-ductor if you have those machine for a light circuit, just to get everything warmed up, if you squat first

Thank you for doing this. I must have I used to be 20% or so bodyfat at one time and after I got to 10% or so, my leg size went down. That said, its about what they look like .
