Lost about 400lbs in 26 months without gastric bypass surgery. Pretty inspirational stuff, some serious dedication needed to do something like that.

I agree. However, I find that with a lot of people who were once obese still have excess skin leftover. My gf was once 300 pounds and currently weighs 145. She still has some excess skin left over in her tummy area. She will be looking forward to a tummy tuck when she can afford it. Back to the subject........yes it is an inspirational story to see someone overcome such a huge obstacle such as his. This is a reminder to the rest of the fat americans to get off their lazy asses and lose weight.

Ya he had about 3 operations after all that fat loss to remove about 30lbs of skin and said he still needs 1 or 2 more operations to get rid of the rest of it.

Very inspirational. What an accomplishment. Shows you whats possible if you just beleive and use your resources.

I saw that and was rooting for him. But I remember thinking he's wasting his time trying to find a woman in the USA. Actually, he will have it hard finding even a bad girlfriend in the USA. He should go over seas. He's actually not bad looking, but still not good enough for most American women to consider dating.

The show said he's had 13 dates, yet still no girlfriend. A guy like that would have more like 13 girlfriends the first week of living in Eastern Europe. But maybe now that he's "famous" from being on TV, an American girl will want to date him.

It was very nice to see that there are some people in this world who are willing to bust their ass for what they want and not go the surgery route right off the bat.

Although every time I see someone like that who is morbidly obese......I wonder how they got that way.

I mean...did it ever occur to them when they were, say 50 lbs overwight, "Hey....I'm letting my shit go. I better cut back on the sweets and hit some cardio before I can't even get out of my bed!"

Seriously....I'll never understand that. ever.
