7 Weeks From Vacation, I Look Like Shit!

One of my goals every year is to be in TOP condition for my yearly vacations.
In 7 weeks I will sitting in the sun enjoying the Gulf Of Mexico. I tried following a program a few weeks ago, but I ran into several obstacles that slowed my progress. I've been working 12-14 hour days, not packing enough of the right foods and just eating bad, and not having enough time to train properly. I've also not been sleeping enough to really recover correctly. I know.....excuses, excuses :rolleyes: Anyways, I'm feeling a little depressed thinking I may have just waited to long. I'm not certain I can do it within 7 weeks. I've still not given up hope however. I really could use some motivation and advice from you guys. My goal is not to be massive and big this year but rather slender and cut. Heres what I'm working with:

13% BF
I realize diet is crucial here and this is where I could use some major help. As far as training goes, I'm following a DC style training program. Other than whey protein and EAS low carb bars I'm not using any other supplements.
 
Alright lets see. . .

Depends how far you wanna take this. Heres some things you could do in order of what i feel is most effective. . .

1. AM cardio empty stomach. Cant beat it for burning bodyfat.

2. Clen/EC (20mg/200mg) stack. Il assume you know how to use both, you can add taurine (100mg) and green tea to the EC stack to prolong its effects and make it more potent, plus its great for energy boost pre cardio/workout as well as its fat burning effects.

3. I list diet as #3 cuase you said your having trouble with it, so i figure you nail the first few options, then do the best you can with this. Im gonna assume you know how to eat healthy, only problem is DOING it.

If your around 13% bodyfat it is ABSOLUTLY possible to get down to 8-9% in 6 weeks as long as you do it right.

I'l add the morning cardio in. Thats something I'm not doing right now.
I would LOVE to try some Clen and/or some EC but I have some medical conditions(BPH and High Blood Pressure) that prevent me from using those items.

How about some T3 and Green Tea?

As far as diet goes, I've got the protein and Fats under control (I think)
what I really need help on is the Carb amounts I need.
 
Drop the DC training for a while, and do more of a lifting cardio medely.

Ie, M Chest - Incline Dumbell press 4 sets, 30 seconds bewteen set
Hammer Press 4 sets, 30 seconds rest,
Machine PRess 4 sets 30 seconds rest
Flys 3-4 sets 30 seconds rest
"Bewteen exercises, take a min or two for a breather, and 30-60 is fine

After that is done, takes like 20 mins, Get a flat bench, an Ab Ball, 10lb dumbells and 2 50 pound dumbells,
One big super Set, 12 reps of crunches on the bench knees up, take the 10lb dumbells do 20 side bends to each side, jump on abb ball, do 12-15 crunches, then take the 50lb dumbells and do 12 reps of shrugs,
4-5 sets of these and your done

This will rev the engine, I mean you want to be ripped for the beach, and burn calories, this is an example, but works well for lots of my friends, and when I need to get cut quick I do workouts like this,
 
BTW 13% bodyfat and you will still look better then 95% of people on da beach Mon.

Yep, I am thinking the same thing. I'm at some similar stats and going on vacation at the end of next month. Been eating a lot better over the last couple months and even better with some help from Phil. The only thing I can't seem to get going consistently is am cardio. I know that would stoke the furnace!
 
Green tea wont do much on its own. It only amplifies and prolongs the effects of an EC stack.

Better yet, scroll down on this page. Basskiller has a bunch of sites that will help. Theres a whole section on weight loss. Read up on the diet, the T3, and do 45min cardio EMPTY stomach as soon as u wake up(that part is very important) 5x per week. After about 3-4 weeks, add 20min cardio post workout also as a second cardio session for the day beucase your glycogen stores will be empty from your workout, perfect time to utalize cardio. Have fun lol
