7 weeks out from my first contest at 40 years old

well here i am at 7 weeks out . I am behind and struggling to catch up. I had some crap happen that forced me to stop all sup use for 26 days which through my body into a tail spin. Catching back up now. The show I am doing is a small local show so I am going to keep going for it at this point and just bring the best package I can. I have came a long way and I am very happy.

can i ask you about the skin on your stomach? is that from being really over weight? i posted a thread a few below yours saying"10 weeks out from my first show need help" im worried my stomach wont tighten up fast enough. do you have any advice or can you please look at my thread. you look great though i hope to look like you at 40!!

its from the 100+lbs of fat i lost. only time will tell on how much it will tighten up.done all i can for that baring surgery. just trying to cut the rest this fat now.
body weight is still sitting around 210-15 and im 5'11(10)

You Look great buddy seriously you really do. Give your self more credit then you posted! You have alot of loose skin, but in reality your quite lean. Keep it up man, continue to tighten up and get harder as the weeks come along!

Hey Brother.

I started my prep diet around Christmas at 300lbs. Today I weighed in at 244.

I have a lil ring all the way around my waist that is bothersome to me as well along with loose skin all around.

My contest is in less than 5 weeks. No telling what my weight will be. Im 38 6ft and this is my first one.

Thank you everyone. Craptacular day today. Have an appointment to drop our car off at shop and go out this morning and my old blue beast suburban won't. Start! We just put a motor in it last month! The car is overheating and I'm starting graveyards 13 hour shifts for the next 7 days . Crap gots me stressed! Trying to figure how to get my workout time in.

well ill pick up my truck this morning and drop off the car. was able to get my training in yesterday even got 60 of cardio in. Gravyards suck , 13 hour shifts suck

yeah thanks man. the stress sucks hav to remeber this is supposed to be fun. i will keep pushing. pulling the diet in tighter and adjusting my work outs for the home stretch. any suggestions?

you look great, just stay focused and enjoy the contest. BTW - a friend of mine had the same loose skin at the waist after losing a lot of weight and it tightened up considerably 1 year after.... and he's almost 50!
