737 Lb Deadlift for the strength guys

Capin - Thanks for the tip, I usually pull my shorts off on my heaviest sets so its just compression shorts so I don't have that issue with friction I guess I just forgot to yesterday. I don't usually have grip issues on singles I just chalk up and squeeze as hard as I can, I'm gonna try out your suggestion and see if it works though definitely cant hurt to try. For now on I plan to just compete at whatever my walk around weight is but down the road if I were in a situation where I can make a significant record attempt if I cut a couple of lbs for weigh-in I'll probably do it. I definitely agree with you on focusing on all 3 lifts. The deadlift for a long time was actually my worst lift and now it's arguably the best, i'm pretty even across the board right now. 720 squat 470 bench 737 deadlift. It annoys me when I see experiences lifters only excel at one besides the guys that are obviously built to bench press well and not really squat or deadlift. But specifically with the deadlift you see guys that deadlift 150 - 200 lbs more than they squat. I use to be like that and it pissed me off so I worked my ass off to get better.

Relentless - I'm using the elitefts super heavy sleeves. I think they definitely help with speed off the floor. I you plan on wearing sleeves the whole workout I would go with this less thick ones they sell. The super heavy's after a while start to get uncomfortable during a workout if you don't roll them down at all.

Claymore - Just trying to get somewhere in the realm of Stan's numbers.I still don't know how the hell he benches 600+, ridiculous.

Wow thats impressive dude. A couple of those deadlifts might get a red light depending on the federation but you look like your 230lbs and 700lbs+ is world class. In a few years and a few cycles you'll be compting against Konstantin Konstantinovs and Efferding for christs sake.
