A Kick Ass Contest Idea for PM!!!

Hey PM, I was thinking about how we need some more contests etc... How about this? CONTEST: Member that gains the most mass in a month.

Whichever members want to do it, they would have to adhere to the contest rules that would be made up, such as pictures once a week taken and then posted for progress and it makes it a little more competative... There would have to be pics of you on the SAME scale once per week..

Then the contestants would post all their stats and pics, PM mods would then judge the contest and pick the winner. And Maaaaayybe there could be a little PM prize from from one of our sponsers??

Haha I saw a contest like that for a radio station to see who could gain the most weight and the prize was a car. Over the course of a week a guy gained 40 lbs. and said he never felt more disgusting in his life but he quickly dropped the weight (mostly water) and had a new car for his troubles. If I remember correctly he was a bodybuilder so he knew how to manipulate his bodyweight/water/sodium/carbs and whatnot to blow up really fast and lose it pretty quickly.

Do you care if all they gain is FAT?
If not, how are you going to validate LBM with a method that's CONSISTENT and AFFORDABLE?
Are you going to require pics (we all know everyone is honest in this regard - right FATHEAD!?!?)?

Nice idea but no way to fairly apply it IMHO. Now "before and after" pics over a "reasonable" time period (one month is TOO SHORT) may be an idea.

Ive seen plenty of contests, some bring bad times among people. Yet on this board people seem more mature and could handle it Lol....

Contests are great to bring some new motivation to the table. I think a little moer time may be nice. You could let a poll be put up. I would assume some general guidlines owuld be put in place. I mean people are BB'rs here usually right...Maybe just see who could make a the transformation. Weahter that would be leaning up, gaing whatever just a positive BB change....

How about best overall transformation over a period of say 4 months. That brings you to May if it started sometime this month. My fatass needs to losse like 50 pounds. I have notlifted in over 6 months and sit around eating sh*t. Im like 30% bdf right now at 250.

I can pop a bunch of d-bol and eat lots of pizza if you want to do the 1 month for most mass.
