A question for the diet Gurus

I really don't understand this whole "I eat clean," stuff. Sure, I eat clean too. I make sure my pop tarts don't hit the floor. If your micronutrients are hit, feel free to indulge, it sure won't hinder your progress if you actually have set macros. flex dieting is where it is at.

Different fats affect the body differently. Omega 3 and mct very difficult to store as fat. Rump steak will have a better amino profile then a burger from mcds at same macros. I've done clean, I've done macros with some junk,clean pisses over junk at same macros every time

3000 cals from table sugar does not have the same effect on the body as 3000 cals from sweet potato. It goes way beyond set macros and will hinder your progress. Controlling insulin is imperative for many dieters.

Absolutely, you find out which foods have a positive impact on Insulin sensitivity and things become a lot easier. Hfcs will wreck sensitivity real quick, rice and potato you can eat all day and see no noticeable rise in fasted blood glucose, but there all carbs. Shitty vegetable oils will wreck it, coconut oil and especially fish oil will improve it,there all fats. Once you factor in these type of things, all that harsh calorie restriction and endless cardio isn't needed to make up for Shitty food choices and muscle stays around much longer. Energy levels improve a lot too so you can get more calories burnt in less time on cardio. If flexible dieting means swapping out rice for sweet potato or banana etc then im all for it but for most it doesn't mean that.
 
I just had my blood work done, which panel are you looking for?

I know that this is obviously genetic, and I know if I dieted hard that I would lose weight from that area

I do need to put on a solid ten pounds to place better in my shows, so gaining muscle is the ultimate goal so I guess my question was how to stay lean while trying to gain size so when I do diet I don't have to kill myself

Cycling carbs?
Higher Fat?
Cardio?
More complex carbs?

Right now I am eating 6 solid meals a day and adjusting my diet by how I look in the mirror. A day usually looks like this

-2 cups egg whites + 4 ezekiel bread + 1 tbs olive oil or 2 tbs pb
- 8 oz chicken w 1 cup white rice
- 8 oz chicken w 1 cup white rice pre training
-60 grams cyclic dextrin + amino during
- 8 oz chicken 2 cups white rice Post training
- 8 oz salmon 1/2 cup quinoa
- 2 cups egg whites + 2 tbs pb
1.Terrible diet.

2.Stop eating fucking chicken every 3 hours. Your body is going to reject it.

3.Rotate your protein source, theres more than chicken. Fish,Beef,Turkey,Eggs

4.The only thing good is your taking BCAA During your workout, that is good.
 
I'm no guru...but have been 4% bodyfat within 6 months:D

Get lean...then get leaner.....and then when you get a little bit leaner......those stubborn handles will be gone!!!

Yeah but you have handfuls of Hell Fire at arms length...and now Peptides!!

Wow talk about nitpicking everything and being OCD. His diet looks fine, and BCAA during workouts isn't even as good as EAA.

I hear this building up a resistance to a certain protein sorce a lot. I've been eating chicken breast every meal for years 0 issues and know plenty of others that do wroth no problem. His diet looks pretty damn solid to me.
