Are you still a big eater?

As a 50 year old I no longer do several meals and often do just 3-4 however I’ve found I can still smash away a huge evening meal and have to actually stop myself. Last night I ate nearly 3/4s of a whole chicken plus two baked potatoes then some Greek yoghurt with protein powder for pudding.

I will do that occasionally, over eat, enjoy. But at 59 i do very small,, probably to small lol,, frequent meals at around every two hours.

brother, sigh, always have, probably always will. I could eat two whole large pizzas in one sitting if I let myself, and on top of it, my metab is ass. I bulk on like 2500 calories as a natty. I have had to master volume eating to overcome it. If I was not into training and competitive bodybuilding, or simply did not give a shit what I looked like, I could probably be a star on "my 600lb life"

I'm 56 and was always a pretty big eater...big portions at each meal and often times getting "seconds" and eating until I was full. Plus, I'd snack between meals as well. I noticed I was starting to get a little tubby over the past couple of years from doing this. I still train hard 4-5 times each week and have good muscle for a guy my age but I wasn't liking the perma-bulk look. I started taking retatrutide after reading the mega thread about it on here. I did it strictly to help control overeating at each meal and the snacking in between. I only take 2mg/week (1mg on Sundays and Thursdays). Been on it for a good 8 months now. It's working great for this purpose and I don't see any reason to stop. I can still eat 3-4 solid meals every day but now the portions are reasonable and it's EXTREMELY rare to get "seconds" and when I do "snack" between meals it's typically something pretty small/reasonable and healthy. I've lost almost 15lbs over the past 8 months just by eating less. I haven't changed anything about my training, cardio, etc. I know the reta also has a lot of other health benefits associated with it so like I said, I'm gonna stay on it.

42 and love eating a little to much. Hungry all day everyday, it’s a battle lol

I’m 54 and can smash food and eat like a teenager- but my body does not respond to it that well!!! 😂

I know my metabolism is slower than years back but I don’t seem to have an I’m full switch at the minute. I ate 20 pieces of Costco sushi the other day without batting an eyelid. I’d love to say I just burn it off but I don’t. Loads of dog walks are my saviour

I've noticed my appetite is much less than younger. Most of my life i have been a volume eater. Recently, gas bloating have been bad so I switched it up and now still eat 3 meals Ed but much less volume. More nuts, fatty fish, honey, sushi, blueberries instead of pineapple and strawberries...focusing on foods that don't give me any bloating and don't give me that full feeling. Waist looks much tighter, feel better, more regular bowel movements, etc. Imo they key to get away from the volume eating is make that shit taste good at all costs. If you won't feel full or 100% satiated...atleast satisfy the taste buds lol

I’m 40. Dont have very much appetite. Eat 3-5 small balanced meals. Occasionally get a sweet tooth but I really try to avoid eating foods that taste good otherwise ill eat too much.

I’m 55 and I’m still eating alot. I hadn’t been for a long time. But Iv been training and doing cardio twice a day for the past 6 weeks and Iv hit a decent ass regimen Iv been doing that has my body craving lots of food again. Gut health is perfect fir the time being and I’m getting leaner and putting in a decent amount of muscle so I see no reason to not eat as often as possible.

I am 66. I can eat a fair amount but only do 4 meals a day anymore. When it is time to eat i eat. Been that way for almost 40 years. I always ate for entertainment more then hunger. With dinner being the biggest as i have always saved some calories for that meal. 4000+ calories used to be a maintenance diet for me. These days i am down to more like 3000. I just don't enjoy being overly full theses days. Nor the sluggish feeling the next morning after a binge. It is not like i am going to grow any new muscle these days. If i do it means i wasn't doing something right decades ago.

I'm 49 and I have to force myself to eat, especially before training. I could easily eat one meal a day and be fine, but I would be skinny as fuck obviously.

Im 41 no diference in apetite buy i stay active and have fast metabolism

Only changes for me os with drugs , some compounds feel totally different than on my 20s

66 next month. My appetite is not what it used to be. I eat three meals a day and add protein drink. 2500 to 3500 calories. But I am not eating junk calories either.

I am willing to bet you are like me and happy just to be maintaining some muscle at this point.

57 and I don't eat like I used to. I'm personally not chasing size anymore. Don't compete any longer. The consistent eating in my opinion was the hardest part. The endless meal prep and packing meals around my schedule. Thank god that's over! Now I'm just trying to maintain what I have into the fittest/healthiest version of myself while looking better than 95%+ of men my age. This all started for me around the time I turned 50 and developed a # of physical injuries that were a direct result of grinding in the gym for 40+ years.

48 years old. My appetite is directly tied to how hard I am working my muscles out, and cardio to a lesser extent. The harder I lift, the hungrier I am.

But When Im not lifting or doing cardio, my appetite is shit. I would be ok with eating two meals a day.
