I was training wrestling and boxing a couple days ago, was really pushing myself... hard sparring etc. Anyway on my way home my lat felt really strange... when i came home i looked in the mirror and i immediately knew i had teared it somehow, the lat muscle on the lower left side doesnt attach where it should and when i flex the muscle kind of curl/contracts upwards and exposes 3 rows of ribs on the left side(normally no ribs are even close to be visible from the rear view)... looks really fucked up...
I went to the hospital and the first doctor looks at it for a while and doesnt know what to do... he says he must call in an expert, well after 5 h the other doctor comes in and looks at it for 20 seconds and says that its a partial tear and they dont do anything about that. And i asked him how long til i can train again? and he says 2 weeks maximum(!)... 2 weeks!?!? it looks like the muscle been torn apart by a pack of hungry hedgehogs... 2 weeks...? that cant be right can it... he was foreign and it was hard to understand what he was saying and he was kinda mumbeling... i hope he didnt say 12 weeks... lol
It should have been a releif to hear that the doctor didnt think it was a big deal at all, "2 weeks of rest and you can start training again"... i just feel a little sceptic about it... if its just a small tear why does it looks like Shredder mangled it...
