AAS and Lipitor / high cholesterol

Hey guys
My buddy has high cholesterol, not sure if its genetic or not
but he does take 40mg a night of lipitor ( one pill)
his cholesterol is around 160 when he takes the pills.
He wanted to do a cycle but i thought i would check with you guys

if Lipitor and a cycle would or could be a bad thing?

I know orals will crush you cholesterol levels, not so sure on injectables.

Injectables can mess with your lipids too but it is usually not as bad and is definately doses and compound dependant.

Not if his cholesterol is out of whack, unless he fixes it.

Definitely no orals. Lipitor pounds your liver already.

Lipitor and AAS

Many older TRT/Cruisers are on Lipitor or the like (drug class statins). Yes, orals will always potentially hit the liver, and a newbie (and most oldbies) should take a pass on orals.

But Lipitor and injectables is as OK as any AAS use. It's probably better, because at least his LDL will be under control. Statins don't really help HDL tho'

So even if he did run an oral like dbol for 30mg for 4 weeks
while still taking his one pill a night
you dont recomend that?
the reason i ask is because his cholesterol is still being controlled by the lipitor itself

No, no orals, ever while on a statin. It's not the cholesterol he should worry about, it's liver stress. 10mg of lipitor elevated my enzymes more than 50mg of anadrol.

Yeah, statins are harsh. My doctor wanted to put me on a statin to help with my cholesterol (mostly heredity, some of it is my fault). Told him no way, I see shitty liver values in my patients all the time from that crap. And I like my orals.

So he put me on Trilipix. I'll know in two weeks how it has effected everything. I can honestly say.....I do feel a "bit" better. Placebo? Maybe. My complete lack of energy is starting to fade.
