AAS testing for fire department?

Got a buddy who is gonna join fire department soon. He wants to run a small 10week 400mg enanthate cycle. Anyone know if they test? Enanthate stays in your system for testing for like 12months too. Thanks

it does? i figured as long as ur test lvls are normal then how would they know.

Employers only test for recreational drugs or the NIDA 5 as they are called. Marijuana, cocaine, heroin, barbituates, and speed. Steroid testing is cost prohibitive and is rarely if ever done.

The Fire Department im familiar with does not test for AAS. They are more concerned about you being a smoker than AAS user.

I applied for Fire Department and went through all the testing. You have to sign a written statement if you smoke or not. They interviewed me in front of a 5 person panel twice, which was tape recorded. Steroids was brought up as a question. They don't test for them usually. You will need a good memory to past the written test and have some decent understanding of decimal points as there are questions on weight of chemicals and gases. The physical test your cardiopulmonary system, spacial relations, coordination and ability to follow directions and is harder than the standard police physical. Actually there is no comparison it was a lot harder to me.

Where do you get ethnante for 12 months from, its more like 12-16 weeks or 3-4 months.

There is a new steroid detection kit at walmart. Hopefully they dont start using it.

Since PPD’s implementation of steroid testing in 2006, five Phoenix police officers and one firefighter recruit have tested positive for the prohibited compounds. And authorities believe the number of users is much higher, but it’s proving to be difficult to determine since officers sometimes resign when questioning or testing is imminent.

what a waste of money. testing for male hormones that every male on the planet has in his body to begin with. I would test and if they tested positive, give them more money. I would rather have a big strong fireman dragging me out of a burning building any day....Ha Its not like they are competing in a sport or anything.

I can understand testing for rec drugs or alcohol because the reasons are obvious but hormones? Out of control IMO.

yooo im not sure if they will test for aas but most fire departments do require polygraph exams. They may not specifically ask about it but it was what deterred me from trying, i didnt want to be questioned about anything and have it come up

not anymore here in nyc. the cops and fire department has started testing for juice starting last yr. a few been caught and thrown out of the NYPD.

know alot of people who went off the juice. but thats only state level testing. my job hasnt announced testing for the stuff yet.

Every Dept has their own rules and regulations and have different "disqualifiers" during their background check.

It's neither. Depends on the dosage since we're talking of testing levels of test or ratio of test to epitest in the case of athletic testing. If you're lucky you'll pass while still being on.

Can't agree more. Why test these guys like they are going into the cia??? It takes brave men and women to risk his/her life for others....no matter what the field. The willingness to do that should be enough.

Im not surprised some departments now test for steroids. I know the places near me only test for rec drugs. maybe a polygraph or whatever..but dont let that deter him from trying. 90% of the firemen I know here are horribly out of shape and smoke like a train. Just tell your friend to keep his steroid usage to himself and take alot of supplements up to the station to throw them off lol. If hes really that worried about it tell him about peptides. Really i think its only the big departments in the big cities that would even have the money to waste on steroid testing. I really dont know why they would care. Like I said most of them are out of shape and smoke all the time anyway..I was shocked really.

I know of a few fire fighters and cops that use the same anti aging Dr. i use, i know some cps that will tell you they use gear, as i understand they only test for rec drugs

my little brother just passed the exam for the NYPD(he doesn't or has ever used gear) but i had to warn him that even some OTC supplements may test positive for nandrolone metabolites(not sure which ones tho)and advised him to stop all supplements except his protein.it would suck to go thru all that testing to get denied a career for some bullshit like this.ever since ORD and some further investigations/busts,many civil service jobs now require ALL drug testing from the common illegal to the now more popular "EVIL HORMONES".what a shame it is,really.a good friend of mine works for a certain law enforcement agency and he said within the last year/18mnths they pull guys(and gals too)right from line up call(muster)and have them give urine samples on the spot.he's been hit twice in the last 8 mnths and they DO check for aas.(i guess b/c he's into powerlifting they think he's on some form of gear).talk about profiling,lol!
