? about my uncles Knee's? Docs cant figure it out?

Uncle is really overweight. LIke 275lbs 5'6"
He has severe pains in his knees and can barely walk for a few mins.
He's had numerous mri's they dont see any pathology. They thought it was artheritis, but he had cortisone shots shot right into his knees and it didnt help at all so the dr ruled out artheritis. he had xrays and it showed nothing. 2 docs so far have said they just dont know what it could be. He's living off ibprophen. Anyone have any idea's of what it could be or what he could take, other than losing weight lol

Firstly, if your uncle is living on ibuprofen all he will give himself is an ulcer. If the cortisone shot didn't work, it's doubtful that the ibuprofen is doing any good... If it's a weight problem, then thats all that can really be done, and pain med's to ease the pain until he has normalized his weight. There's not many options he really has.

cortisone shots not helping his knees doesnt mean its not arthritis. MRI's are not always 100% accurate. Losing weight will help alot for someone like him but his knee is hurting for a reason. maybe time for a different doc.

but at 275 lbs. it is too risky to use anavar because of what it will do to your HDL/LDL even at low dose. at 5'6" and 275 i would assume his lipid profile is already compromised. i think the most logical approach here is weightloss.

That's very heavy for a 5'6" guy. I know it would be a bitch to lose weight when he can't walk.
I'd say he's a candidate for pharmaceutical weight loss.

All the obese people in my family have some kind of knee pain. Every single one.

YES ONCE HE GETS HIS LDL DOWN THEN I WOULD OPT FOR 5MG VAR OR IF HE IS CLEAR OF CANCEROUS CELLS OR GROWTH THEN GROWTH
