Have anyone else noticed aching joints and pain from bone or somewhere inside limbs or other places from body (maybe muscles too, but this is NOT like DOMS pain) after eating large amounts of carbohydrate in state of ketosis?
I have noticed this many times since I have been dieting with ketogenic diet many months wich I follow about 1-2 weeks straight and then refeed myself with carbs. Then I eat something like pizza, pasta, bread.. normal food wich doesn't cause any pain in normal - not ketogenic - situation.
So what would be science behind this? Is there somekind of inflammation starting rapidly? Is there pain because cells expand rapidly due to fluid retention? Or does that have something to do with hormones like IGF-1?
