Adding an AAS and bloodwork timing?

Assuming solid bloodwork prior and no side effects currently-

Is there a general guideline as to how long to wait before doing bloodwork after adding a new compound or AAS to one’s TRT or cycle?

This is in order to see any potential hidden impact like raised hematocrit, test levels, liver/ kidney impact etc etc.

Should you wait a few weeks for levels to stabilize?

I assume you can get an estimate on how long using a tool like steroid plotter, for example.

Is my assumption correct..?

More than a few weeks. Like you stated in your post, your are looking for your body's possible negative reaction. How are you going to judge that if the compound is just starting to reach therapeutic levels?

Obviously an allergic reaction would be very quick though,

A general rule seems to be to wait for 5 half lives at least for a drug to hit stable levels in the blood to see what the drug may be doing. As for side effects those can increase over time.

What I generally do is try to line up my blood work for this kind of comparison pre-cycle and last day of cycle. Even if things are slightly skewed a few weeks in, you do not get the full picture until the end of that run. Could also run it every month during the cycle, if you are so financially inclined

When I have added things to my trt I generally run blood work prior to starting and then 4-6 weeks in. Unless you notice a side effect. Then I personally would immediately.

The 5 half-lives rule/ once the ester has saturated is gold. But I personally like to give it a few more weeks at peak serum to let the addition do whatever damage it will to my bloods and then reassess.
