Does anyone add glycerine to their water the last couple days before the stage??

I've heard it mentioned that it really helps fill the muscle and prevent being flat but let's you pull water off and be dry even with a mild diuretic.!!

Seems plausible but never seen it done , or know anyone that has
 
If i have been using it pre workout throughout my diet then yes I would use it last couple days out (filling out). If I haven't already been using it then NO
 
What bboy stated. It may not be wise to throw a new variable into the mix the last week if you have not been using it prior...too much of a gamble, imo.
 
I would definitely do a trail run or 2 at least before considering it.
 
A trial run is always a good idea but in this case, I don't see anything negative that Glycerin can do, only positives.

It can be used as a laxative, and may even cause diarrhea.
 
True dat. Didn't think of that aspect, my bad.
The first few times I used it in my Intra workout I noticed that I had to use the bathroom.afyer training which never happens , but it subsided after a week , two friends that I know that added it also said they saw the same thing.
Not like taking mag citrate or anything just a extra bowel movement.
 
Could opt for glycerol too . Bulk supplements has it. Freaking love glycerol. All day pumps , hydration and fullness. Beet root, arginine and glycerol , best workouts. It can have that “feeling” in your stomach though so be weary of this. Pretty sure glycerol has less of that effect but it draws water to tissue including intestines so you’ll have to experiment

Yep, Brad was correct, if I take too much of it (and I'm a regular user) I get the shits.

So my advice is now to still try to use it because it's effect is so pronounced but start using it weeks beforehand so no shitty surprises rear their head on-stage.

Glycerin and Glycerol are the same, just a different name for the same chemical.

But I agree it's a great supplement 👍

Yeah. You would need to know your threshold before hand. A little makes you full a little more can have you peeing out the wrong hole. And ruin your day, possibly worse if taking diuretics.
