just lookin for some good places to hang out at. never have been there before so im looking for some advice on where the hot spots are at..

You will find that there really isn't a bad place to hang out in Vegas, old Vegas strip maybe.

Here are some spots I recommend:

Taboo Lounge- MGM Grand
Rain-Palms
Ghost BAr-Palms
Jaguar- Worlds Largest Stripclub
Crazyhorse II- One of the best stripclubs around
Glow- stripclub turned afterhours club late, late like 6:30 in the morning late!!
Rum Jungle- Mandalay
Ice-New club never been all my friends say it is fun
Seven- sits by itself i think right in the middle of the strip, great for afterhours
Ra-Luxor
Light- Bellagio
Baby's-Hard Rock

That should be a good start for you, and I am sure that the other members will have some good ones as well

I used to spin that music man, so now worries all those places play good music, Ice's resident DJ is Donald Glaude and they always have DJ's come in from around the world.

I don't really care what people say and I think it is one of the best kinds of music period IMO.

I was there a couple weeks ago, I spent one night in Light in Bellagio...if you're going with your friends and not your girl...go there! Easily 3 girls for every guy and plenty of hotties. There was a bartender there too who was easily the hottest girl I've ever seen. If you have some coin to drop buy a bottle (like $600-700 I think) and get a booth off the dance floor, the girls will be all over you. Have fun

alright i have been doing a little research and i came across those VIP passes for the lines. im wondering if they are worth it or not? im not going to have any hot women with me unless i meet some before i go to any clubs, which is possible i guess, but im not relying on that. im just wondering how bad the lines are and if a 20$ might get you in the door a little quicker.

also has anyone heard of the club Drais i think its a restaurant in the day and afterhours in the morning. i saw something like 50$ for entry into the club and you dont have to wait in line. what kind of cover charges should i be expecting like 20-25$?

We got in for free everywhere we went, so can't help you there. Drais is supposed to be outstanding for after hours, we didn't go, but that is THE after hour spot.

vitor .......that story is is great bro .....because sadly that same thing happened to me when they first flew me out to Vegas to open the club that now is the Speariment Rhino . I am waiting for some guys to meet me in the hotel bar and chicks all over the place are staring , winking , ect.......[ I am thinking man , I must be looking good or something .......lol] The guys I am meeting finally show and we start our meeting .............and one the guys looks at me a says " Jas, are you going to pay attention to me or flirt with hookers all night ?......and you know that hot chick in the corner is really a dude right ? " I was stunned .I have never felt more stupid in my life ..........I have never let my ego get the best of me again since [ at least for the most part .....lol ...].I felt like an ass and got teased for days for that one .

yes juiced, Drais in the basement of the barnaby coast is a long time hot spot and at one time was the best for afterhours but like Iabadman said things change there all the time, I just recieved word there is another new place at the palms as well that I have never heard of.

Yes there are girls from out of town everywhere and I found the best way to meet them wasn't the clubs but at the pools where I stayed, I mean come on we are bodybuilders, we stick out at the pool, or at least we should or we need a new hobby. Anyways, I have met most girls that way and in groups. I know that sounds cheesy and stupid but if I wanted to hang out with girls instead of just my meathead friends, I went there.

One of best times in Vegas was when my friends and I met a bunch of Mormon girls from Utah on their first trip there, needless to say their mormon values went out the window!!! Such a repressed lifestyle those mormons lead!!

Very wise words to listen to from Iabadman. I had several friends that worked or work in Vegas and they have been anywhere from Bellman at hotels to security at strip clubs. I worked in the hotel industry for 6 years and met really cool people and everyone has the same philosiphy....make money and a ton of it. If you are going on a weekend the lines at the clubs are longer than you could ever imagine. Sadly 20 bucks wont cut it to get you in. 100 bucks will get you in and if you plan on being around for a couple of nights, just say thanks to the doorman on the way out and most likely he might remember you the next night if you plan to return. Everyone remembers the good tippers. RA at the luxor has good house/techno/drum%bass shit. Just check the night you want to go because many of those clubs fly in DJ's. Its not uncommon to see Teisto or Van Dyke at anyone of those clubs. Light at the Bellagio allways goes off pretty good and if you are gonna be there untill Sunday, you have to go to the Hard Rock by the pool. Its on Sundays and its called REHAB. It goes off big time and I know the Palms does a similar thing but damn the girls at the HR . For strip bars Ive liked Cheetas, Saphire I thought was over rated, but Ive allways had the best time at the Spearamint Rhino. If you like to eat,Paris has a great buffet if you are into that and so the Bellagio. Craft is good too in the MGM. I could go on and on. Have fun and be safe....peace.
