AF Korea Deployment

People have been telling me volunteering for Korea is one of the best ways to get deployed ASAP.

Im on the fence, dont know much about the resources in that area. Figure my 1st deployment is when I want to do my 1st cycle.

As far as Korean bases, I'd assume some of their benefits would be:

-Cheap rehabilitation services like: acupuncture,chiropractic, deep tissue massage.

-Good place to learn martial arts

I'm thinking NOT Germany, heard they have really strict supplement laws.

Anyone care to chime in on how Korean bases vary for Airmen...

And or, maybe what are some good deployment bases for bodybuilding enthusiasts.

Do you know what base? I've been to Osan AFB and it's one of the nicer Military Installations in of all of Korea. I worked on an Army Camp further south as a civilian and I would go up to Osan AFB for shopping. I believe the other is Kunsan AFB but I don't know too much about it. Just be ready to be blown away by how modern South Korea actually is if you don't know anything about it.

Sorry about the tardy response.

I havent looked into openings yet at Korean bases. But once I do, just to keep the information I gather in mind.

Im most concerned with the gear availability.

I dont know how true it is, but Germany supposedly having very strict supplement laws alone, would make me put Germanys' bases far down on my preference list.

No problems. I'm not 100% sure if Korea is the same as Germany but South Korean drug laws are very strict. Don't know about laws pertaining to gear though. In Japan, it can be bought off base in pharmacies but syringes were illegal back when I was in Asia. But Japan is a totally different country so just do your research.

Supplements can still be bought on base or even sent through the APO AP mail system.
