If Africans were good wrestlers than they would always be up there in the olympics just like they do in long distance running ect. But you always find its the estern europeans, ie Russians, Bulgarians, Turks ect that do well in wrestling as well as the USA.

I didn't say it wasn't. And in all the countries you mentioned the standards are better. I was just stating it is really big in Africa and Asia. I imagine most know it is big in the areas you mentioned due to the Olympics and WWE etc. It was just surprising to me the first time I saw wrestling in India on a tv program... I think it said there were 40,000 people watching it... certainly looked like it. And that was literally a few men wrestling in the sand... not a big budget event.
