AI / HCG for first cycle

Following the advice I have been given on here, I am going to run test e @ 250mg a week for 10 or 12 weeks (probably 12). Do I need to use an AI throughout this with such a low dose? I was going to use HCG too though I have been told it isn't necessary? I know a lot is down to personal theory but just thought I'd get some opinions

250 a week??? I would do closer to 500 a week. And use both your AI and hcg during cycle. You don't need to use alot of hcg during cycle just enough to keep your cells stimulated, or you may be in trouble after your cycle. Your aromatase inhibitor will help the estrogen build up and keep bloat down. I would do some more research if this is your first cycle.. You'll need a plan for coming off your cycle too..

I've got options for PCT, got novla + clomid though if I use HCG I would incorporate that.. I'm just unsure as to whether I need an AI or not? I was going to do 400mg but a few guys said 250 is enough, and I prefer the idea of that anyway. Lower the better

If you're not using HCG during your cycle then all your bases aren't covered. It's also very affordable so there's really no reason not to use it. Only using 250mg a week is barely higher than a TRT dose for some guys so you could be setting yourself up for disappointment and a wasted cycle. You can only fit so many cycles into a year with proper recovery times so make the most of it.

For a first cycle something like:

250iu HCG 2 x weekly Mon/Thur
500mg Test / week split into 2 shots Mon/Thur
12.5mg aromasin daily if needed
