AI's adding to sides?

Some acne flaring up again. Got bloods back and estro is bit high. Currently running 200mg's doxy to help with acne. -per my derm. I have some arimidex on hand but tend to not use it as my understanding was that sometimes it can help add to the side's from a cycle. anyone else have this happen to them or am I seeing this incorrectly.

current cycle 375mg test e/wk 500mg mast e/wk 4iu gh/ed

i'm thinking .5mg arimidex eod

Masteron is notorious for causing acne if you’re sensitive to it. I would suggest aromasin 12.5 2X weekly and adjust from there. If you’re dead set on adex .5 2X weekly might be fine. Bloodwork will determine.

As for the e2 if it’s only slightly elevated I don’t see much of a problem If you’re not getting e2 sides. Masteron typically causes a slick layer of oil over the skin and can exacerbate a breakout.

75 currently but some of that may be because of the doxycycline which I started taking because my acne was flaring up.

what was your test level? You don’t want crush e2 for the sake of acne. It will do more harm than good.

Aromasin has a very minimal impact on lipids where as Arimidex lowers hdl. If the gear is already suppressing hdl we don’t want to take another drug to suppress it even further when we have other options. Personally I feel like shit when my e2 is above 60, this differs person to person.

reading a few of the comments here about it potentially being the masteron that’s causing the acne; are you saying that because of the excess oil production clogging the pores?

if so, wow, didn’t even think of that. I am a bit more oily.

@workingclass you should keep estrogens around 50pg/ml, but as many said here high Masterson can give you acne too.
Fix E2 then evaluate to lower Masteron dose.
With 375 test I would run 200-300 Mast no more. If you want more mg and avoid AIs try something like 375 Test 300 Primo 300 Mast.

Not sure how much this helps OP as I’m not currently cycling but on TRT.

One of the main ways I know my E2 has risen is with acne. It doesn’t get out of control but it elevates some. Once I get some extra bumps I pop 0.5mg Arimidex and it usually takes it back down.

As others have mentioned, I want to use the absolute least amount possible bc I don’t want my E2 to crash but rather to drop just a little.
