Alcohol in Injectable Carnitine Solution

My buddy gave me a bottle of injectable carnitine and the label lists a bit of alcohol in the ingredients - I assume to keep sterile but I've never seen that before.

Question.... Will the alcohol degrade the carnitine and break it up?

I assume it wouldnt because the alcohol would sit on top of the water but wanted to ask... And yes, I usually use Synthetine but this was given to me.

Alcohol and water mix. If there's something sitting/floating on top you need to toss that asap.

Nothing solid floating. I meant I thought the alcohol would tend to sit on top of the water considering its less dense.

Ok, regardless of that I was wondering if the alcohol would have any effect on the stability of the carnitine.

i literally just started hearing about people injecting l carnitine into "stubborn" areas....

Ok... And? Injectable carnitine has been around a while now.

im sorry, i thought this was to be taken oraly. everyone i know doing this buys it with it clearly on the label that its to be eatin! of course it hurts! lmao

It can be taken orally, just not nearly as effective on a mg-mg basis.
