I want to thank everyone, particularly MAINEVENT.

If it was not for him, i would not have come aboard and met you guys. I have gotten to know many of you and have become friends with allot of great people here.

I love training for condition but this year the challenge was to keep as much condition and also move up a few good pounds. At the nationals, you need it all. Size, condition and the most complete guy in the class usually wins.

Bring that shit to the stage, Alex and blow some friggin' minds!

How much is your weight up this year compared to last?...

I want everyone on here know, if you did not have the pleasure to meet Alex in person, you would fine him one of most passionate, when it comes to this sport. Not only that, but he really has a passion to see others do good, a really good prep coach, one of the best. Alex, it was a real honor to be a friend, give them hell at the Nationals. Thanks allot for the support. And greg, it was great meeting you too. Thanks for coming out to support Dusty and everyone at the last show. Anyways...

I didnt want to post any pics at all because i just want to bring it that but I felt i should include you guys in how i have been doing .

Here is the thing for me. Last year, i was ready about 3 weeks early and chewed up some muscle in the process of dropping my weight down to make weight and holding the condition. It took me a long time to realize condition is not everything and this is a big show. I plan on being somewhat near the top of the weight class... Im short as hell, dense and now...I want to be full...

At weigh ins, last year i was sucked way down, this year, im eating up.. This year Im eating into this show and its great. my body is filing out great and I think as i fill out even more, i will get harder.. my body needs allot of carbs to be full. At this point last year, i was 8-10lbs lighter.

See this year im timing things to look my best on stage, not early for pictures, etc.. Although I have some good ones, im waiting till I hit the road for the show. Keep an eye out for me. thanks for all the support guys.

I hope my strategy pays off. It seems to be working as im drying out and filling out at the same time.

Here is the thing about the welters this year.........

It's one of the deepest, if not the deepest line up out of all of the classes. People look past the lighter weight classes for some reason. I started reading the names that have entered and you have several top three place winners from national shows, a past Jr. Nats champ, last years runner up, do I even need to continue? This will be a dog fight for that title and Alex is right up there in the mix. Too bad I can't make it this year. The night of the weigh ins we chatted in the lobby if you remember. I was sitting with Scott Turner and Lisa Bickles if that rings a bell. Stay the course and do your thing. You look insane!
