I’m assuming people were probably misusing/ abusing the lab report posting to harm competitors or create a false narrative?

Ie: sending in some random underdosed product then having it listed on the jano report as “X” lab’s product to make a claim they were selling bad product?

It's because I don't care for people like you or others posting results (positive or negative) while you might have vested interests in the results.

So if you don't like it, go to the other forums that care about your "harm reduction".

Where users, vendors, others could contribute crypto anonymously to a controlled escrow like account—where the moderators or a person in a position of trust could make the testing process a little more controlled? Just trying to think of a workaround where we could still have more gear testing with maybe less corruption.

Obvious the details would have to be ironed out. Maintaining anonymity is critical, and having one or two people in control of the funds could easily lead to bad things—so there would need to be controls in place

I'd really like this. In the past I donated to that. A small price to pay for a piece of mind. The problem is that too many people were cheap asses and didn't donate and the program ended. I as well would like to see it revived!!

Totally agree, it'd be great to see it resurrected and I'd happily donate.

I always donated for testing and appreciated everyone that was involved in the process.

I agree with you, there were very few that wanted to donate.

Hopefully there will be a better way to handle this and a more workable system devised. For those misusing/abusing the lab reporting "honor system" it's all on them for causing Big A to implement this rule considering sponsors pay to be on this board. Not sure if all sponsors are on board with this new rule as they also cannot share lab reports without going thru staff/admin.

We can just wait to see how this all shakes out in the end as this is Big A's board he makes the rules we are just the guests.

If the AnaSci testing does not get re-instated, then never.

That testing was completely unbiased and it had a number of failsafes in it, so it was faultless.
However, apart from a core group of members that kept donating regularly for the testing to happen, the rest were just loud mouth freeloaders. The freeloaders are always the ones that scream the most as can be witnessed now.
Eventually the budget ran out and it was not fair to keep asking the same people to keep donating while all the self entitled mouth breathers took advantage of it.

Unless that testing begins again, no tests will be allowed to be posted again, not by sponsors and not by members.

It is very simple:

- to me Jano tests are worthless after my personal experiences with his operation
- tests posted by sponsors are worthless because obviously a sponsor would do everything in their power to get a good positive for that test
- tests posted by members are worthless because if they are positive or negative it does not mean that the member does not have a vested interest in those results

The board does not owe you anything. If you are worried, then stop being a fucking tight ass and pay for your own testing. Stop bitching because you cannot see free info (test results) and stop being an entitled freeloader. The vast, vast majority of people that scream to the heavens about this fall in this category.

This is not a democracy and it is not open to debate. If anyone does not like this, move on to other forums that suit you. Noone is forcing you to be here.
