Anything abused or used to alter your brain chemistry can potentially be a gateway "drug".

Ok...another internet tough guy...huh. No insults, merely attempting to educate people who present as ignorant. There is no such thing as neuropsychiatric meds. There is Neuropsychiatry, which deals with mental disorders due to disease of the nervous system. Just cuz you went online and found a few abstracts does not mean you know what u or alfresco are speaking about. You do not. My 13 years of education in the field of addiction and clinical psychiatry, along with working in the field for almost 24 years trumps ur internet searches. Leave it alone bro...seriously.Misleading? You must hate to admit that YOU WERE WRONG. You said that was a made up thing... And didn't post those abstracts to relate to what alfresco said but they DAMN SURE relate to what YOU said... They most CERTAINLY DO change brain function as those studies PROVE that. That site sells neuropsychiatric med which YOU said was a word he made up. So quit insulting good bro's and accept your ignorance and move along as you seem to be the one who doesn't know what he was talking about NOT Alfresco... Now they don't get you high necessarily which seems to be what you MEANT but not what you SAID...
LK..i agree with u that aas users can be obsessive and at times abusers for sure. But what I'm referring to is alfresco stating that aas are recreational drugs. They are not. They are not classified as recreational becuz they are not psychoactive. Meaning they do not alter mood or brain chemistry solely for recreational purposes. alcohol, stimulants, depressants, psychedelics do. aas do not. Long term they may play a role in dopamine, norepinephrine, adrenal etc. But alfresco is stating that they are being used recreationally and aas do not meet the criteria as recreational drugs. Can't remember the last time I went to hang out with the bro's and I had a few cc's of test while attending a concert, bon fire etc. It's irresponsible to spread this type of label...that aas users are using recreational drugs. I'm honestly surprised that more bro's here are not offended by that statement, especially the bro's like myself who are responsible, safe, educated on aas, and utilize them for performance enhancement in a safe and responsible manner. Not all do, I know that, but I'm not going to sit here and let alfresco spread spew his rhetoric and false information about a lifestyle that is so close to my heart.
same situation with weed. ppl praise it and stuff but in the end its still just making you feel good and thats what drugs are about
