So as alot of you are aware I went on a rant the other day concerning the Critical Bench Program and how to modify it, yada yada. Well reguuardless, I
was all stressed out about my form so I spent all night reading up on proper technique, I had a 650 bench pressser work with me one time on my form but since I headed over seas and hadnt had alot of time to work with him it really didnt stick, the seed however was planted....

So I head to the gym yesterday a 355 pound bench presser, armed with my re-learned knowledge from the previously discussed planted seed I Hit 382 with ease, and failed midrange at 406. Since I bought the critical bench program with the weights planned out for a 355 presser I am going to have to do some math to figure this shit out.
It might have something to do with the weekly gram of sust, the A-Bombs, and all the preworkout stimulants I have been consuming as well.

So you can definatally say that I am quite pleased. Maybe Ill see a mid 400s before too long....

What kind of things in your form are you focused on right now? Probably a good solid arch in your back and a wider grip. Keep up the good work!

My arch needs work, and I really need to work on driving from my legs up, what caused the increase was a wide grip and really focussing on tucking my elbows in towards my sides on the negs, and usind my lats. When I really try and drive with my legs my ass leaves the bench, any suggestions
 
Get your feet farther out in front of you and makes sure you wear some sticky shoes. How much do you weigh? The heavy guys have less trouble keeping their butts down.

spread ur feet wider, retract shoulder blades, lower with lats, stay tight in the bottom, drive heals into floor on the press

I incorporated these ajustments and really focused on using my lats for the initial pop at the botttom and keeping my arms from flairing. It paid off too as I hit 413 last night, almost got it for a second rep failed at lockout. But theneagain the Sust stated kicking hard about 4 days ago, been horny as a 17 year old kid with a playboy, I think I have had a boner for the last 3 days almost without break, its kind of uncomfortable as I have to pull the head out of the top of my pants so my belt will keep it from pitching a tent in public. Kind of funny.
