any bros here familiar with diuretics? if so, which ones should i BE LOOKING FOR?
lasix isn't an option, none of the sponsors carry that
Not to sound like an asshole but I find it irresponsible to recommend a guy diuretics when he clearly has no idea how they work or how to use them....
Lasix is available from several I believe. I don't remember exactly which. Improper use of them can really do you in tho'.
My Doc has me on 12.5mg of hydrochlorot for BP. It's a very low dose very very mild high BP. It's easy to get, it bothers my stomach tho'
Diuretic (ab) use in body building is for the risk takers. About 15 years ago I was living in Manhattan and a medical resident who was a juicer (he's now an invasive cardiologist - smart guy) passed out from his lasix use and was public wheeled into his ER on a stretcher. It was quite the rage around the water coolers.
I take a very small dose of hctz 12.5mg ED. The difference it has made in terms of health (BP) and physical appearance are drastic. Eliminates all bloat AAS, high sodium in foods, etc. I simply take a Potassium/Calcium/Magnesium supplement daily.
I noticed, it did shrink my muscles a bit, by sucking water out of them, but when i first started, they shrank a tiny bit, and that was basically my new size to work with.
Quite the opposite. You'd be wrong to recommend them.
Diuretics can kill you. Especially in the summer.
What do you mean by this post??? THa'ts exactly what I was saying??? DONT RECOMMEND DIURETICS BECAUSE THEY ARE DANGEROUS... did you read my post in the first place or what?
I must be missing something important here. There are millions of Americans taking Lasix everyday of their lives. Middle age people with hypertension and a variety of heart problems. My father-in-law is 6'5" and weighs 280. He has high BP, and high cholesterol. He takes about 6 medications a day plus Lasix - which he has been taking for 7 years.
If you drink a lot of water and don't intake any sale (use salt substitute; you would be surprised how well it works) - that helps. D-bol blows me up, but Test does not - so the type of stack you are using is going to be a variable.
The critical factor with Lasix - like all medications, is dosage. Many Americans are on 80mg a day. It comes in 20mg tablets. I find that 20, twice a day (when I need it) works well to take out a bit of water. For Christ's sake my 25 pound King Charles Spaniel has been on 20mg a day for 3 years.
Responsible use of Doctor approved drugs is not irresponsible. Like any other drug, there are many other choices and if you have any special medical conditions you might want to check with your doctor before using any diuretic.
But, if your medical status is that iffy you should be using gear very responsibly as well or not at all.

Just wondering what is hctz? Is it an OTC supplement?
why do you need a diuretic? if your lean, and you manipulate water and sodium right (don't do much is the best thing) then you will be dry as a bone.
