any one on topical TRT?

anyone on topical TRT like androgel, testim, Androderm (no longer made i think). If so what are your experiences and levels.
I have been considering TRT for the last few months for more physiological reasons fatigue, lethargy etc.

I switched from everyday injections of test cyp(25mg a day) to applying compunded transdermal cream on my scrotum once a day. Honestly I felt great, best energy and mood I've ever had on TRT. Only issue was my estrogen was so low, the arthritis in my shoulders flared up big time and I lost a lot of strength, so I went back to injections. Compounded creams are a lot cheaper, I was paying $45 a month for cream @ 20% absorption.

Years ago when I was using them they raised my T but only about 150 points. Appears I do not absorb well. My DHT did go up till it was 3X the top of the normal scale. Which could make some people feel good. I would have had to use quite a bit of cream to have the same numbers that I do with injections. I have friends that don't workout the use gels/creams and like them.

It’s a little more physiological, since it increases when you apply and dips a bit over night.
Injections cause a constant high normal levels which obviously comes with good muscle gains but also the side effects High hgb, etc.


So am trying to avoid it

From the charts I have seen there appears to be slight peak a couple hours after applying then pretty steady state after that once the skin is full loaded. https://www.rxlist.com/androgel-drug.htm#clinpharm
