When you fast, the first cells to literally starve and die, are the mutated/carcinogen cells.
While I agree that fasting is beneficial, and as much as I would wish that to be true, unfortunately the above statement is not correct. Fasting/ketogenic dieting works good against cancer cells that rely heavily on glycolitic metabolism, but not all cancer types (yes, there are cancer cells that rely more on glutamine for example, than glucose). Although is a good option for prevention, it remains to be seen if it is really helpful for treatment of cancer types other than gliomas.
