Anybody regret starting TRT

Is there anyone on here that regrets starting TRT, doctor prescribed or self prescribed. After my last cycle I cruised for a while on 250 mgs TE, I know that's high for TRT, but I loved the way I felt.

Even if you don't regret it, what are some of the downsides that you have found with TRT.

down side is driving to the clinic because my dumb doc wont give me a script, says he would never do that, but trt is a awesome thing bro imo...Im looking for a new doc

No regrets and no real downsides to speak of IMHO. I don't mind the shots and don't care that it's for life. The way I feel is worth it.

Then, there are bodybuilders...

i.e. it's like saying if you regret taking antibiotics to get over a virus...

...Nice...there are plenty out there that will not put you through that. I found a n MD that specializes in vitality. Got the script, no problems, 100% legit.

I regret it for one reason. When I wanted to stop and try to regain fertility I could not. Fertility drugs are expensive and many treatments not covered by insurance.

I don't regret TRT at all. Once I found the right doctor who prescribe it so I could do it at home. Maybe the only thing that sucks is that it is for life.

That's maybe because you were cycling? There is not reason why you should loose fertility when on proper TRT. When I was on proper TRT, 190mg e2wks plus HCG @ 250IUs 2xwk, my sperm count was pretty high.

Don't blame TRT for cycling...

I was about to say the same thing. I would tend to think there was something else going on there anyway with as many guys on here that have conceived even while on cycles.

Been on trt self prescribed (initially by doc) did I really really need it? no but it made me feel better and helped me cope with a stressful life and still look and feel good. So no regrets but its been 5 years I am might be competing in a tested comp (not bodybuilding) I wont gain an advantage but could get banned for using so might have to switch ed suspension 1t 15mg ed which seem a lot of hassle. I should also say that I think my sex drive has gotten worse over the last few years and when I try taking pregnyl even at 125iu twice per week I get itchy nipples and have to take proviron or and aromasi.

So to have normal levels and good testicular health I now have to take hcg and ancillaries...hmmmm

So thinking of going natty and do peps only.

This. Ive been on for about a year now, began with trt for a couple months then in december went to the bigger stuff. Been blasting since actually just swapping around. Feel good and my libido is higher than ever right now thanks to test and caber

Yea it's been fine, keep in mind Testosterone is a fraction of one's libido, believe it or not before I started on HRT and after my initial set of labs my TT was 7ng/dl.... Retarded low, my libido was ok, not like a raging bull, it was most certainly there. Erection quality wasn't good as I needed to take Viagra.

Dopamine is the first response in libido,Prolactin and Serotonin play a major role here, a proper equilibrium of Testosterone/ Estradiol is what gives use Erection quality, an imbalance of these two hormones will change feeling, sensation, duration, and orgasm either premature or extended erection period .

NorEpiehrine also plays a role in Androgenic Erection quality,as well as Thyroid, Cortisol and so on.

The biggest player in libido is how one's physiological well-being is, inadvertently hormones down stream physiological sensors.

Finny...

Did not cycle. I'm simply answering the original posters question. TRT has been a blessing in every way except for the "one" regret. I have other issues such as cancer and having to go through treatments that might of also contributed to infertility. It's cool that you remained fertile but that is not always the case with everyone. Again, just answering the original posters question.
