Anyone attending the Olympia or have in the past?

I have been to the Arnold 3x and enjoyed it. I am considering the Olympia this year. I have been to Vegas a bunch and it is always fun. I figure it is similar to the Arnold but with all the fun that Vegas brings with it. Palms still has rooms. VIP tickets only on sale yet for $995. Idk what individually purchasing all the tickets through GA would be but flight, room, VIP tix puts me at $2500. Not bad.

Anyone going?
Any advice or experiences?
Any must do's?
Comparisons to experiences at the Arnold?
Stay at the host hotel?

Side note... I know guys here have but I havent... I can just order like MegaFit meals and have it shipped to my hotel and call the hotel and tell them it is coming and to hold it and that's it? That simple?

I've only been twice, one time got in for free to spot at an event. Only advice I can give is get there early for all the free shit the vendors give out. Lol. Last time I got inzer knee sleeves and 2 shirts for free.

I wouldn`t go to vegas if the hotel room was free! I`ve been many times, only a short drive for me but now its even more of a trashy shit hole. Venture capital bought up most big hotels and squeeze it for every penny. Maintenance is neglected, the strip is filled with homeless junkies and dirty. $25 basic drinks, overpriced everything with the worst service I`ve ever had.

This I disagree with. I have been there many times. Yeah walking the strip is trashy. But so is every big city. The flip side Vegas has amenities and luxuries other places dont. No where has those pool parties, nightly entertainment or food options. I dont think I would ever want to live there but I have never had anything but a great experience at Encore, Cosmopolitan, Aria, etc.

The town will never be the same. After the Tangiers, the big corporations took it all over. Today it looks like Disneyland. Yes, most big city`s are trashy. BUT the strip is a tourist district, that is supposed to be nicer. Those pools by afternoon are filthy, garbage all over, empty cups, etc. I`m too old, cranky, and conservative to deal with filth AND pay top dollar. The night clubs have great artists, TERRIBLE venues. All tables and no place to move. Yes, good food options for the double the price of any other big city that also has great food. $50/day resort fee AND I gotta pay to park there?!

Enjoy your time. They are dying for tourists there right now.
