I was in my health class last week and it got me thinking about it. It is most likely to hit you between the ages of 18-25yrs old. I did a self exam, didnt notice anything major out of place. However even if its just beginning id rather find out and do something, then find out when its too late and it could kill me.
Another question. When i go to see the doctor on friday should i tell him that im using AAS? I was thinking its better to tell him that, use the doctor/patient confidentiality.

You do as you see fit

IMHO - I tell NOBODY.

It's illegal you know and most do not understand what it does and doesn't do. If they put it on your medical record and you have insurance, the insurance company may reject a major claim in the future and say that you were self-adminstering steroids, which are illegal. Unfortunately, ignorance is bliss in the medical and insurance field when it comes to this.

Now if you feel you can trust your doc and talk with him and be assured that your conversation will not go onto your record, or your doctor is savy about what steroids do (probably took them in college/sports or was a bb'er - have direct use/experience) that's another story.

every week

I give myself a personal examination once a week or so. I also go to the doc ever six months to double check..don't wanna lose one of my little buddies!

But just like Xcel said, if you trust the doc tell him if not don't tell him.

I Had Testicular Cancer

I had testicular cancer when I was 16 y/o's, totally sucked, I discovered it after I got hit in the balls during a hockey game. My balls wouldn't quit aching like a week later, so I went to the Doc and he sent me over for an MRI thinking it was nothing. A day later he calls my parents and has them bring me down. We go through everything and I had a malignant tumor/growth on the right testis, had to have chemo due to the advanced stage of development and close proximity to the lymph nodes. Hair fell out, I felt like absolute garbage and I couldn't eat anything. When I got done, I was at 145, at a height of 6'2", totally emaciated. But I lived through it, I still curse the doctors for not giving me tons of GH, Epogen and Test. They were old school assholes, didn't know how to stave off wasting, total idiots. Ahh, but I am making up for that now, I love test and Gh.

Oh yeah, bump what XCEL said, mention nothing of gear to anyone in the medical field, they are total and complete idiots when it comes to this sort of information. 99.9% of them know absolutely nothing about this, even endocrinologists can be lacking on this subject. I know, I have Doctors in the family, they don't know much about gear, I have asked before, their first line was,"Steroids will kill you!" Plus, they could have your insurance company refuse coverage, like they do for coke addicts.

Man, I'm sorry to hear that. Glad you pulled through....fuck....that must have been a scary feeling.

About the "Steroids Will Kill You" line, my chiropractor told me about a recent study being conducted on long term side effects of steroids and he says that there are no real clinical studies about AAS knocking years off your life etc. Does anyone else know about this?

If you mention it and they put it in your records, and then you become ill, your insurance can say that yur use caused this and this so we will not pay for anything...SO NO SAY NOTHING!!!!!

NEVER TELL ANYONE!!!!!!

let them assume all they want.
