Anyone else wear a lot of UNIQLO?

I’ve lived in Japan for a long time, but I’d never worn Uniqlo because I was unaware of their online store. In physical shops, sizes are limited, but online they go up to 4X (Japan size).
I recently discovered the Airism oversized T-shirts, Airism polos, parachute pants, easy chinos and jeans, shorts, sweats, joggers, jackets, and more. I even preordered several items from the upcoming Needles collaboration.

I hate wearing tight clothes and prefer something loose and flowing. Their oversized pieces are often soft, nicely draped, and comfortable. There’s no question you look like a bodybuilder, even without skin-tight sleeves.
I keep adding new pieces when they go on sale and couldn’t be happier with the fit, style, and quality.

Uniqlo seems to be gaining traction outside Japan—has anyone else here tried them?

honestly, i really disliked the material feel of the airism oversized. i enjoyed them when i first got them as this was like 2021 and finding oversized stuff was a bit harder, but after trying some other brands the past few years i never wear my airism shirts anymore. i think uniqlo as a whole is fantastic tho!

I have probably 20 of those tees now. Lol .They work great for humid Japanese summers, but I can see how the inner synthetic layer can be unappealing.

i love their Airism range, suitable for our S.E.Asia climate.

Thats all I wear to be honest.

Airsim underwear is the best. (airs boxer breifs)

Ultra stretch active shorts

Dry-EX crew neck t-shorts....

im in Asia also, you can order everything online xxxL....

they last long!

Love them! About 70–80% of my clothes are from Uniqlo. I usually wait until the end of the month since they often rotate discounts on popular or regular items. I’ve heard that GU, Uniqlo’s sister brand, has been gaining traction in Japan as well — but personally, I still prefer Uniqlo’s fabric texture.

Yeah they have discounted items every week as well as continuous sale items. Ends up being very inexpensive. The airism tees are usually taken down to 1290 yen, or $8.50 USD.

GU is popular with more "frugal" people and those looking for lowest prices. Fast Retailing the parent company also owns some semi luxury brands here.

Never worn uniqlo. But I do basically live in oversized everything 🤣🤣gasp/better bodies and explosive fibres are my favourites

I vaguely remember going there when I lived in Japan and laughing at the sizes. My wife and kids bought stuff there all the time though.
The oversized t shirts from GASP are comfortable to workout in, but I like wearing cheap bamboo t shirts from Amazon cuz I can show my arms, which is the only body part I have left.

Have you tried their barrel leg jeans/trousers, swear the only pairs that actually fit the legs and waist perfectly off the rack. Although its not the intended style it looks regular fit on bodybuilders lol. Still a win imo. The knit tees are also very good

Never heard of them. I looked through the website and the one thing that sticks out as something Id be interested in is the long sleeve linens.

Long sleeve casual work shirts are always a bust for me. Ill buy one and try it out.

Haven't tried those in particular, but a lot of their loose/baggy fits great. Again, Japanese being shorter, the cuts here have a great length/width profile.

The oversize Airism T and long sleeve fits well and doesn't look cartoonish. I'm 56 and don't want to wear anything with logos or branding. Well, maybe the Uniqlo-T Star Wars and Godzilla shirts ;)
